In the realm of spiritual warfare against demonic spirits, I believe there are 4 basic levels in which an individual believer may have to face - depending on what you may be dealing with in your present set of circumstances and what you may have in your past background.

Having the specific knowledge on what each one of these 4 levels are all about can really help with planning and carrying out the appropriate battle strategy in which to defeat them should demons ever move in for an attack on either you or any of your close loved ones.

But before I get into exactly what these four areas are, I want to give you some very basic verses from the Bible showing you the importance that God the Father is placing on that we realize the reality of demonic spirits in this world and that we not be afraid to engage and cast them out if and when needed.

Here are 8 very powerful verses from the Bible showing all of us that we are not to be afraid of demons and that we are to directly engage with them if we have to - operating under God's authority and anointing to be able to do so.

1. And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved, but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe. In my name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues, they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick and they will recover." (Mark 16:15-18)

2. "Then Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee ... the Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor, He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord." (Luke 4:14-18)

3. "Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you." (Luke 10:19)

4. "Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases. He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick." (Luke 9:1)

5. "And He called the twelve to Him, and began to send them out two by two, and gave them power over unclean spirits ... And they cast out many demons, and anointed with oil many who were sick, and healed them." (Mark 6:7,13)

6. "And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease." (Matthew 10:1)

7. "But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as you go, preach, saying, 'The kingdom of heaven is at hand.' "Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give." (Matthew 10:6-8)

8. "For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil." (1 John 3:8)

If you’ll notice, every time Jesus gave His apostles the power and command to go out and walk with His anointing, He always told them to cast out demons as one of His specific commands - no exceptions!
So if Jesus was constantly casting out demons, always telling the apostles to cast out demons, and the apostles too were always casting out demons, then it should only be logical that the Church should continue to still cast out demons when needed.

It has been estimated by many Bible scholars that approximately 25% of the miracles Jesus had performed were Him casting demons out of people. Satan and his demons are not confined to the Bottomless Pit at this time. This event will not happen until Jesus returns back to us in His second coming. Until that event happens, Satan and his demons are still free to roam in the "air" seeking who they are going to try and devour next.

As Christians, we always have to remember that the devil and his demons are already defeated animals. Jesus has already defeated Satan at the cross when He was crucified.

What is now left is that all Christians have to realize that the victory is already ours. We thus have to learn how to engage and defeat the devil and his demons when they do try to move into a person or a situation - and sometimes this means a real live deliverance - because demons can and do attach themselves to people when they do move in for an attack. And once they do, the only way to be able to drive them out is by the power of God!

Before I get into the four specific areas in which demons will try and come against people, especially Christians, there is one more big debate going on right now in the Body of Christ about how far demons can go with Christians. This debate is whether or not a demon can actually enter in on the inside of a Christian.

Many believe that once you are saved and become born again, that demons cannot enter in on the inside of you. The Bible tells us that the Holy Spirit will literally come in and enter in on the inside of your human spirit at the moment of your conversion with Jesus. As a result of our bodies now becoming the temple of the Holy Spirit, they believe that there is no way that a demon or a group of demons can enter in on the inside of your body.

At first glance, this does appear to be a very logical argument. However, what they are missing is the fact that the Bible tells us that we have three distinct separate parts to our being. We have a body, a soul and a spirit. The Holy Spirit is living and dwelling in your human spirit, but He is not living up in your soul or body area.

If a Christian ends up committing a severe door opening sin and transgression against the Lord giving the demons full legal right to be able to directly attack him, then what the demons will try and do if they can get away with it is try and enter into that person's body and soul. They will not be able to enter into the Christian's spirit because the Holy Spirit is already living and dwelling in there. But they will be able to enter into the body and soul of that person if the transgression has been deemed to be severe enough by the Lord.

Talk to any deliverance minister who does deliverances on a regular basis, and every single one of them will tell you that demons can enter in on the inside of a Christian, and that they then have to be cast out of them by way of an actual deliverance. In fact, they cannot cast the demons out of a person unless that person is a Christian to begin with, or unless that person is willing to become a Christian if they are not saved.

If an unsaved person has demons living and operating on the inside of them, they will have no spiritual authority to be able to cast the demons out of them. This kind of deliverance is only available for born-again Christians.

One of the things Christians can do to totally safeguard themselves from ever having a demon try to enter in on the inside of them is to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. We have an article in the Bible Basics section of our site on exactly what this gift is and how to properly receive it.

What happens with this second experience is that the Holy Spirit will release from your spirit and come up and enter into your soul. Once the Holy Spirit is residing in both your spirit and soul areas, then the demons will not be able to enter into your soul since the Holy Spirit is now living and dwelling up in there as a result of having received this gift.

This is why after a Christian gets delivered from demons, a deliverance minister will try and get the person to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit - to help safeguard and prevent the demons from ever being able to get in on the inside of that person ever again.

This debate has been going on for a long time in the Body of Christ and will obviously never be resolved anytime in the near future. The only thing that I can personally tell you is that I have come across quite a few Christians who have had demons literally dwelling on the inside of them and they all had to have the demons cast out of them by way of an actual deliverance.

At the end of this article, I will give you a list of the best books ever written on the subject of deliverance and engaging with demons. Each one of these books have been written by very creditable, anointed men and women of God who have learned much in this area of spiritual warfare. And what you will find out very quickly when reading from each one of them is that they have all found out in the real battlefields of life where this kind of activity does exist, that Christians can and do draw demons on the inside of them if the demons have the appropriate legal rights to be able to enter in.

As I get into the four specific areas where demons can directly attack a Christian, you will see me break this down into two very basic areas. If demons come in for an attack, they will either try and attack you from an outside position, which means they are attacking you from the "air." When they are attacking you from an outside position, they are not on the inside of your body or soul. These attacks are coming at you from the outside of your being.

The other position that demons can attack you is from the inside position, which means they are attacking you from the inside of your being. And if they are on the inside of you being able to attack you from this inside position, then something has happened that has given them the legal right to be able to enter in on the inside of you.

Your job will then be to find out what their legal right is so that you can get it properly broken before God the Father. Once you have properly broken their legal rights before God the Father, then you can turn around and command them to now leave you in the name of Jesus.

But whether you are dealing with demons attacking you from an outside position or from an inside position - the rules are still the same. Find out what their legal rights are, properly break those legal rights before God the Father, and then turn around and verbally cast them out in the name of your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

As much as I hate to say this, there is a real war game going on between God and the devil for all of our souls. And in this war game are real live demonic spirits who will come after people, especially Christians - and they will try to get away with inflicting as much death, terror, destruction and oppression as they possibly can.

This is why the Bible is telling us that we are to resist the devil, that we are to cast out demons when and where needed, that we are to become good soldiers of Jesus Christ, that we are to be as bold as lions, and that we are to learn how to walk in the anointing of God so that we can properly use the power, anointing and authority that God has already given to each one of us through His Holy Spirit.

The Bible makes it very clear as to what kind of big picture we all have to deal with. Each Christian thus has to make up their own personal mind as to how they will deal with this big picture and the war games that are really going on behind the scenes between God and the devil. The apostle Paul could not have said it any better when he said that our real battle is not with flesh and blood, but with principalities and powers, which are demons and demon powers.

You can either learn how to rise up and walk with the anointing and power of God in your life so as to be able to do battle against your enemies, whether they be demons or other bad and evil people, or you can choose to hide your head in the sand and let demons and other bad and evil people tear you and your family to pieces.

But before God can go into battle for you - you will first have to be willing to march onto that battlefield and face your enemy head on. The choice is yours.

In the "Testimonies" section of our site, we have several powerful testimonies from people who were taught how to directly engage with their enemies, and in several of these cases, their enemies were demonic spirits.

These people were all getting torn apart with what these demons were able to get away with - and this was all occurring because they did not know how to directly engage with them and how to drive them off of them and their current situation.

Once we showed them how to go on the offensive and directly engage with these demons, every single one of them received complete and total deliverance - and in most of the cases, deliverance came with 24-48 hours. This is how powerful a thing it really is if you can learn how to go on the offensive against your enemies by operating under the authority, power and guidance of God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ.

Now onto the four distinct areas you may have to face when dealing with any type of direct attacks from demonic spirits.

1. Demons Attacking From the Outside With No Legal Right To Be Doing So
For most Christians, this first level will be the one they will probably have to face the most from time to time. This first level is when a demon or a group of demons start to attack you from an outside position with no real legal right to be doing so. Jesus Himself had to face Satan head on with this kind of an outside attack when God led Him into the wilderness for 40 days and 40 nights. In that wilderness setting, Satan was allowed to literally tempt Jesus with three specific temptations.
If God allowed His Son to be tempted in this manner, then you know the chances are very good that many of you will have to face this same kind of demonic attack from time to time from this same kind of outside position. In that article, I show you exactly how to deal with a demonic attack coming at you from this kind of an outside position. In that article, I give you a good, basic, simple battle command in which you can use to drive any demons off from you that are attempting to attack or come directly against you.
Jesus has already given us His power, His anointing and His authority to cast out demons and to trample over all the power of our enemies. It simply is a matter of each and every Christian being willing to take up his sword, which is the Word of God, and verbally command the demons to leave you in the name of Jesus Christ. It really is that simple in this first level of spiritual warfare in dealing direct with any kind of demonic attack.

2. Demons Attacking as a Result of a Legal Right To Be Able To Do So
In this second level, things start to get much heavier. This second level is when demons start to come in for an attack, but they have a full legal right to be able to do so. This is the realm that gets many Christians in trouble in this area of spiritual warfare with demons. What happens in this second level is that the Christian has given some kind of legal right to the demon or demons to be able to launch a full scale attack against him.

The Bible tells us from the Book of Job that we apparently have some kind of protective hedge around us that protects us from demonic spirits. If we didn't have this kind of protective hedge, then you can bet that many more Christians would be coming under direct demonic attack. Here is the verse:
"Have You not made a HEDGE around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side?" (Job 1:10)

As a result of this protective hedge, there appears to be some kind of spiritual law in operation that demons have to abide by. They may occasionally be able to come against you as described in level one, but they can easily be cast off from you by just issuing a good, simple, basic battle command telling them that they now have to leave you in the name of Jesus Christ once you realize that it is really them that have been attacking you.

However, what demons do is just wait for any Christian to cause a hole to occur in their protective hedge. And how do you cause a hole to occur in your protective hedge giving demons a legal right to be able to come after you? By engaging and crossing over into any direct sins and transgressions that are expressly forbidden by God the Father in His Word.

Obviously not every sin and every transgression will cause a hole to occur in your protective hedge. The Bible tells us that we are all sinners and that we have all fallen short of the glory of our God. This is why Jesus had to come down to die on the cross - to pay the penalty for all of those sins, and to be able to give us full forgiveness and a full pardon for all of our sins.

If demons had a legal right to be coming after us every single time we sinned or transgressed, then none of us would be safe from their attacks, and we would all be in a state of constant warfare with them. However, what many deliverance ministers have found out in the actual battlefields when having to deal direct with real live demons - is that there are certain sins and transgressions that will give demons the legal right to be able to launch a full scale attack against a person, even if that person is already a Christian!

Once you become saved and born again through the Blood that Jesus has already shed for you on the cross, this does not give you the right or the license to be able to keep on sinning.
Though we have all been made perfectly righteous in the eyes of God as a result of Jesus' righteousness now being imputed to us, we still have to make every effort to stay on the righteous side of the fence in our walk with our Lord. We have to do the best we can to try and live righteous lives and stay out of any serious sins and transgressions against our Lord and Savior - especially those of the heavier kind that will be listed below.

In this area of spiritual warfare, there are certain sins and transgressions that will give demons the legal right to be able to come directly against you if God should so choose to allow it to happen. If you choose to engage in some of these heavier sins, then you could possibly break the protective hedge you have around you.
The demons will then be quick to see that opening when it does occur, and they will waste no time in trying to come directly after you. Demons just wait for people, especially Christians, to cross over into any kind of door-opening, hedge-breaking sin and transgression, which will then give them full legal right to be able to launch an all-out full scale attack on that person and his life.
When looking at what some of these kinds of sins and transgressions are, the first thing you will notice is that they are a much more heavier type of sin or transgression.
Here are some of the sins and transgressions, if committed, especially with any type of frequency or intensity, can you get you into major trouble with the Lord where He will then pull back His hand of protection and cause a hole to appear in your hedge - which will then give demons the legal right to be able to start coming after you for a direct attack.

As Christians, we can have absolutely no part in any of the following areas:
1. The occult
2. False religions or cults
3. Any part of the New Age Movement
4. The homosexual lifestyle
5. Any type of Satan worshipping group
6. Any involvement with abortion or the abortion industry
7. Abusing alcohol
8. Doing any type of drugs - including pot
9. Any type of extreme verbal and/or physical abuse on your mate or children
10. Any type of promiscuous sexual lifestyle
11. Any type of criminal activity
12. Murder
13. Bringing a cursed object into your home

If you will notice, all of these sins and transgressions are things that you have to do operating out of your own free will and volition against the Lord. These are not things being done to you or against you - these are all things that you are doing and committing against the Lord all on your own. In other words, these are all willful sins being done by you against the Lord.

Each one of these areas are major, I repeat, major door openers to the dark side. All of these sins and behaviors are totally unacceptable in the eyes of God and He will not put up with any of His own engaging in any of this kind of activity! In the areas having to do with the occult, we have another article in our site titled "Dangers of the Occult." In this article, I give you all of the main verses from Scripture that tell us that none of us can engage with anything having to do with the occult, and that if we do, we will risk having God set His face directly against us.

Deliverance ministers who deal with demons on a regular basis have all found out that some of the more wicked and evil demons are demons that have attached to someone as a result of that person delving into some area of the occult. This is why God has given all of us such strict warnings in His Word that we can have absolutely nothing to do with any area of the occult - no exceptions!
If you have drawn demons onto you and your life as a result of engaging in one or more of the above door opening sins, then what you will have to do before you can cast the demons out of your life is that you will have to fully break all of their legal rights.

You will first have to realize that you have been sinning and transgressing against God by delving into any of the above areas. Once you have full realization and understanding that these are all unacceptable sins and behaviors before God, then you will have to go before God, fully confess out each one of the transgressions as actual sins, and then fully renounce each one of them - telling God that you will never, ever go back into any of them ever again.
Then once each of these sin areas have been fully confessed and fully renounced before the Lord - then you can turn around, take the authority that God has given to you to trample over all the power of your enemy, and cast the demons off of you for good.

What happens to some Christians, once they realize they have drawn demons into them and their life as a result of being involved in some of the above sin areas - is that they will first try and cast the demons out before breaking their legal rights with God the Father. If you try and do this before you properly break their legal rights before God the Father, they will not go!

The reason for that is they know they still have full legal right to stay attached to you since their legal rights have not been properly confessed out, renounced and broken before God the Father.
In the "Spiritual Warfare" section of our site, we have another article titled "Battle Prayer to Break Legal Rights of Demons." In this article, I give you a good basic battle prayer on how to go before God the Father and fully break the demon's legal rights by properly confessing and renouncing these types of heavier sins.

In this article is an exact prayer that I gave to another woman who had drawn heavy demonic activity into her life as a result of engaging in some multiple heavier sin areas. This woman has given me permission to release the exact prayer that I had given to her so as to be able to help other people who may be having the same kind of problems with demons. It was agreed however, that I would leave her name out of it due to the very personal nature of some of the heavier sins she had been operating in.
To any of you who may have drawn heavy demonic activity in your life as a result of delving and engaging in some of these heavier sin areas - remember - the only sin that cannot be forgiven is a direct blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. All other sins and transgressions can be forgiven, no matter how bad, no matter how vile, and no matter how severe you think they may be.

If you are truly sorry for having engaged in this kind of activity, fully willing to confess and renounce all of this activity before God the Father - then God can fully forgive you and fully deliver you from these demons and restore order back into your life. This is not a hopeless situation.
The Bible tells us that God the Father is no respecter of persons - which means what He will do for one, He will do for another. God has an equal and unconditional love for each person He has created, and He will thus work equally with each person who is willing to come to Him for their deliverance.
We have come across plenty of people who have drawn heavy demonic activity into their lives, and all of them were able to get delivered from the demons once they were taught how to fully break their legal rights. For those of you who may be battling this kind of spiritual problem, I would highly recommend that you read my article titled "Battle Prayer to Break Legal Rights of Demons," and then form out your own personal battle prayer to God the Father to handle your personal situation.

Once you have fully broken all of the legal rights that the demons may have been feeding and operating on, then you will be able to turn around and verbally command them to now leave you in the name of Jesus Christ. In this article, I give you both the prayer to go to God the Father with to break their legal rights, and then I give you a good basic battle command to drive the demons off of you for good!
This will now lead us to the third level of spiritual warfare when having to deal with the reality of demonic spirits invading our lives.

3. Demons Attacking You as a Result of What Someone Else May Have Done to You
This particular area has always been one of the most bothersome areas that I have ever come across when investigating and researching this part of our walk with the Lord. It's one thing to draw demons in on you as a result of your own sins and transgressions that you may have committed against the Lord. Most of the time in that area, you have nobody to blame but yourself for choosing to cross over into areas that you knew were forbidden territory by the Lord in the first place.

But this now brings us into the third major level when having to deal with direct attacks from demons. What happens in this area is that sometimes demons will be allowed to come in and attach themselves to a person as a result of what someone else may have done to that person.

Some examples of this would be women who have been raped, people who have been ritually abused in Satanic groups, people who have been victims of certain types of crimes and assault, wives who may have been severely physically abused by their husbands or boyfriends, and children who have been severely abused by one or both parents - either physically, verbally or sexually.

When I first came across this phenomenon, I wondered how or why God could allow demons to attach themselves to people who have been horribly abused or wronged by another person. This person was usually completely innocent of sinning or transgressing against God. So why would God allow demons to launch a full scale attack against the victim, especially if that victim is a born again Christian?Christian woman are being raped, molested and physically beaten every minute of every day across this country. What happens in some of these types of extreme cases is that demons, once they see that person being physically violated to this kind of an extreme degree, realize that there might be a hole in that person's hedge. Once they see that kind of an opening, they will then try and move in to see if they can attach themselves to that person.

What demons are looking for in these kinds of extreme cases is what that person's response is going to be to the violation. If a woman has been raped, the demons will see if that person will start to exhibit and manifest emotions of hate, anger, bitterness and unforgiveness.
God will obviously allow the person to have some of these kinds of emotions right after all of this has occurred as a result of the initial knee jerk reaction most of us would have to this kind of severe trauma. I don't believe the demons can get a foothold into that person right off the bat.

But if that person does not start to work himself or herself out of these kinds of negative emotions over a certain period of reasonable time, then the demons will have something they can attach themselves too, and that something are the negative emotions of hate, bitterness and extreme anger that will settle in that person's mind, spirit and emotions over a certain period of time. And once the demons attach themselves to those kinds of negative emotions, then they will start to try and work it - trying to increase the frequency and intensity of those emotions.
If a person has drawn demonic activity into his or her life as a result of being the victim of some kind of extreme behavior from another person, then what that person will have to do before they can cast the demons out is to fully forgive the person who has viciously wronged them - no matter how vicious that wrong may have been.

The Bible tells us that whenever we get ready to stand to pray before the Lord, that we have to be willing to fully forgive anyone else who has ever trespassed against us - and that will include any vicious criminal who may have raped, assaulted or robbed you, or any violent and psychotic boyfriend or husband who may have physically abused you.
The Bible tells us that if we don't forgive others who may have trespassed against us, then God will not forgive us when we trespass against others. And then to top it off, God may not even be willing to hear any of our prayers with the way He has this particular verse worded - and if He won't hear any of our prayers, then you may have little or no chance on getting delivered from any type of demonic attack that may come your way.
The first thing any good deliverance minister will do on these type of cases is to make sure that the person will be willing to fully forgive the person who has seriously wronged them. Until this person is willing to fully forgive his trespassers, the demons cannot be cast out.
The demons have been feeding off of those negative emotions for quite some type and as a result, a mental stronghold has developed in that person's mind and thinking. To start God's inner healing process, this person has to be willing to fully forgive the person or people who may have hurt them in these more extreme type of cases.
Once the person is willing to fully forgive all of his trespassers in the eyes of God, then you can turn around and verbally engage with the demons, telling them that they now have to leave you in the name of Jesus Christ, since all of their legal rights have now been taken away from them since you are now willing to fully forgive your trespasser.

4. Demons Attacking as a Result of a Generational Curse Line
Another very disturbing area in the realm of having to do battle with demonic spirits is the area where demons can sometimes jump from abusive and dysfunctional parents onto some of the children - trying to get some of the children to exhibit and manifest the same aberrant and dysfunctional behavior of their parents.
A perfect example of this would be a severe alcoholic parent. The children grow up seeing and watching their parent live a good portion of their married life in this state. As a result of that parent crossing over into this kind of heavier sin area with the Lord, demons will be allowed to come in and attach themselves to the alcoholic parent. And once they attach themselves to the alcoholic parent, they will then look to see if they can target anyone else in the family to attack.
They might try to get the alcoholic parent to try and abuse their spouse or their own children. They may try and get the alcoholic parent to try and take their own life or possibly kill their spouse or their children.
Again, the children are completely innocent. They themselves are not alcoholic. They have done nothing themselves to draw the demons onto their alcoholic parent. So why would God allow the demons to be able to jump onto some of the children to try and get them to do the same thing that they have been able to get the dysfunctional parent to do?
In some of these types of extreme cases, one or two of the children could end up becoming alcoholics themselves. What is happening behind the scenes in the spiritual realm is that the demons will try and get some of the children to move into this same kind of extreme activity, especially as they get older and move into their own marriages.
Demons cannot make you do anything. You always have free will to choose whether or not you will act out on their suggestions and promptings. All demons can do is try and persuade and influence you to cross over into these kinds of extreme realms.
Many children who end up crossing over into some of these same extreme areas are really operating under heavy demonic influence. This is a perfect example of God telling us in His Word that His people will go into captivity for having lack of knowledge. Many children are crossing over into the same extreme realms that their parents were walking in as a result of not having the appropriate knowledge to understand what is really going on behind the scenes in the spiritual realm.
Once again, God the Father gives us some keen insight from His Word as to why this kind of activity is being allowed to happen in some families. God tells us in His Word that the sins of the fathers can be visited down to 3 or 4 generations of future children.
Here is the verse where God is making this specific statement. This verse is from one of the actual 10 commandments, the second commandment.
"You shall not make for yourself any carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments." (Exodus 20:4-6)
Notice in this verse that God is using the word "visiting" - visiting the sins and iniquities of the father directly onto the children, traveling as far down as 3 or 4 generations of these future children.
What does God mean by the word "visiting?" I believe what God may be trying to tell us is that there will be severe consequences for certain types of sins and iniquities committed by parents of children. The Bible tells us that the "wages" of sin will be death.
If the father of a family is an extreme alcoholic, then the family could end up living in a miserable, oppressive and terrible environment. As a result of this kind of severe transgression against the Lord, the family could end up living in poverty.
As a result of living in poverty, the children may end up not getting the best education or the better opportunities to progress and grow into what God may have been calling them to become in Him in the first place. As a result of this poor and oppressive environment, some of these children will never find God or what His purpose and divine plan would have been for their lives.
Some of them may end up becoming alcoholics themselves. And then they end up repeating everything that their father did in their earlier family life and they in turn then marry, and then do the same thing to their families as their father did to them.
And then they have children, their children see and watch their dysfunctional behavior, and then some of them end up repeating the same behavior as they grow older and move into their own marriages. You thus have the sin of one father being visited down several generations - all because no one knew how to break the curse line that had developed as result of the original sin from the first sinning alcoholic father.
All of this kind of negative activity could perfectly describe what God is trying to tell us in this verse. And then to possibly top it off, you have demons who will come in and feed off of this kind of extreme behavior through the alcoholic parent, making everyone else's life in the family miserable as a result. You walk into these kind of houses, and you can literally feel yourself walking into a dark oppressive cloud.
What happens in this kind of scenario in reference to actual demonic activity is that demons will target some of the children to go after. They will try and attach themselves to the child at an early age and start to try and pull them into this darker way of living.
If that child is a born-again Christian, they will try and sever the child's personal relationship with the Lord. They will attack their mind, their emotions and their sense of self-confidence and self-esteem. Many of these children grow up with low levels of self-esteem and self-confidence as a result of all the verbal abuse they have had to put up with from the dysfunctional parent or parents.
When the child gets old enough to leave the home, the demons will follow the child and will still try and stay attached to them. I have personally run across several woman who had demons following them into their adult life and literally attacking them on a periodic basis. They would then command the demons to leave them in the name of Jesus, but that would only work for a short period of time, and then the demons would come back for additional attacks.
What is happening in the spiritual realm behind the scenes is that the demons apparently have developed enough of a legal right to stay attached to that child as a result of the sins and transgressions of the original sinning parent. What the demons have now formed out as a result of the original parent's severe transgressions against the Lord is a curse line between that parent and the child.
What this now means is that before you can cast the demons out and off of you for good - you will first have to fully break the curse line that the demons have been feeding and operating on over all of those years from living with the original sinning parent.

In this article, I give you a step-by-step process on how to properly break a generational curse line that may have originated from a dysfunctional parent or parents. Once you properly break that curse line, then you can turn around and verbally engage with the demons and command them to now leave you in the name of Jesus Christ.
In this article, I also give you an exact prayer I drew up for a 16 year girl who had this exact problem - with demons literally attacking her from time to time - and sometimes quite severely as a result of the demons who were on her natural father. What these demons were attempting to do was to jump and transfer onto her to form out that curse line so that they could continue to follow, torment and harass her as she was growing into her adult life.
This girl was spiritually wise beyond her years. She had a very close, powerful walk with her Lord and Savior, and she had a lot of knowledge on spiritual warfare. But what she couldn't figure out was why these demons were being allowed to chase after her and torment her like they had been doing for a number of years.
Once I received the background information on her and her family, it was very easy to spot where the demons were coming from. This article will explain to you how the father got the demons onto him in the first place, and then how they were attempting to jump from him onto his daughter to form out a curse line so that they could then continue to chase and follow after her into her adult life.
Conclusion
I believe that our God is a God of perfect order. I believe there are reasons for everything. For those who are seekers with the Lord, I believe many of the times God will give you answers as to why things are the way they are and why certain things happen or don't happen.
Though we are all stuck with having to deal with the reality of demonic spirits in this life as a result of the curse Adam and Eve brought upon this earth, there is still order in all of this and God is still running the entire show.
What I have personally found out in the area of spiritual warfare in having to deal direct with demonic spirits is that there are rules to the game, and there are limits as to how far they can go and how much they can get away with. For all Christians, there is deliverance from demons, no matter how bad or how hopeless the situation may look to you in the natural.
What we are trying to do with the spiritual warfare section of our site is to break these articles down accordingly so that you can pick and choose which ones will be best suited for the battle situation you may be forced to face.

In the area of having to deal direct with demons, I once again want to summarize your possible options per the articles we have done to date.
1.  If demons are attempting to attack, harass or torment you from an outside position, but have no real legal right to be doing so, it would be our recommendation that you read our article titled "Battle Command Against Demonic Spirits." A good, simple, basic battle command against these demons should do the trick and you should be able to drive them off of you very easily and very quickly.
2.  If you have committed any type of door-opening sin or transgression against the Lord giving demons the legal right to be able to come after you, we recommend that you read our article titled "Battle Prayer to Break Legal Rights of Demons."
Before you can verbally command the demons to leave you, you will first have to break their legal rights - and this article will give you a good sample prayer on how to properly do this with God the Father.
3.  If you have had someone violate, abuse or harm you in any type of extreme way, and have drawn demons into your life as a result of what that person or persons may have done to you, it would be our recommendation that you first read our article titled "How to Handle Negative Feelings When Wronged by Someone Else."
After you read this article and have made a commitment to the Lord to fully forgive all of your trespassers, then you can form out your own battle command as mentioned in the first two articles above, and then cast the demons out and off of you for good.

4.  If you have demons that have been nipping, attacking, tormenting or harassing you as a result of being raised up in a dysfunctional family where either one or both of your parents have committed some severe transgressions against the Lord, it would be our recommendation that you read our article titled "Battle Prayer to Break a Generational Curse Line."
This article will give you a step-by-step process on how to break the generational curse line that may have formed out from one or both of your dysfunctional parents, and then how to verbally command the demons to leave you in the name of Jesus Christ once you have properly broken that curse line with God the Father.

As I have said in many of my other articles, you don't want to get so paranoid and spooked that you are seeing demons around every possible corner. But you also don't want to take the other extreme position and turn a blind eye and keep your head in the sand ignoring the reality of demons and the different ways in which they will operate.
Many of God's people are getting torpedoed and taken out of this life way too early as a result of not having the appropriate knowledge on spiritual warfare and not knowing how to do battle with their enemies - whether those enemies be demons or other bad and evil people.
The Bible has made it very clear. God's Word has told us that we have all been called to be good soldiers of Jesus Christ. Notice that God is using the word "good soldiers." When God is using the word "good soldiers," I believe He is meaning exactly what He is trying to tell us. Good soldiers are warriors and they know how to directly engage with their enemies if they are forced too. They are strong, bold and fearless.
God tells us in His Word that He wants us to be as bold as lions and that we are to directly engage and cast out demons when we have too. He tells us that if we faint in the day of any kind of adversity, that our strength will be considered small in His eyes.
Per all of the Scripture verses I listed at the top of this article, Jesus Himself had specifically told the apostles to cast out demons every single time He commissioned them to go out and walk with His anointing. We are to save, heal, teach, disciple and cast out demons if and when needed.
I believe God is looking to raise up more well-rounded anointed soldiers in these last days to battle the increasing evil we are starting to see more of. As we approach what I believe will be a coming Rapture, and then the coming of the 7 year Great Tribulation where this entire world will literally be ruled by a real live living Antichrist, I believe God will be pulling out all of the stops to try and get as many people saved and on that first rapture train as He possibly can.
In order to do this, I believe God will be raising up an incredible army of anointed believers who will walk and fly with His supernatural power in a way that the world has never seen before and will never see again. Many of these anointed chosen ones are being worked, trained, molded and shaped right now into the eagles that God is calling them to become in Him.

In this article is a direct word that Jesus gave to this woman on this coming army that He will be personally raising up and what some of the things are that will be happening with this army.
Jesus says that this army will be the army of Joel as spoken by the prophet Joel in the Old Testament. In this article, I give you the full verse from the Book of Joel and the description that he gives of this army. He says this army will be the greatest army that God has ever raised up, that there never has been an army as mighty and powerful as this army is going to be, and that there will never be another one like it ever again.
I personally believe that this army could be coming out of our generation and that our baby-boom generation may end up being the generation that will see and experience the Rapture.

For those of you who would like more detailed information in this area of spiritual warfare, here are 7 very good books on this subject that I would highly recommend, with all of them being written by very creditable and anointed men and women of God who are very experienced in this level of spiritual warfare and have learned much in the actual battlefields with demonic spirits.
All of these people are real pioneers in this area. The Bible tells us that we are to cast out demons, but it doesn't tell us exactly how to do it. Many of these people have had to learn how to do this all on their own as the Holy Spirit was guiding and teaching them along the way. As a result of all of their learning experiences, there is now an incredible amount of knowledge and revelation on this subject for those who want to learn more about it.
If I had to rate which one of these books would be considered the best at this time, I would definitely have to say the very first book I will list below. The title of this book is"Defeating Dark Angels" by Charles Kraft. This man gives the best, easiest, most logical, rational and thorough analysis of this topic that I have seen to date. You can't go wrong with this man's teaching on this subject.
Two other books that are extremely good are "Healing Through Deliverance - Volumes 1 & 2" by Peter Horrobin and "Larson's Book of Spiritual Warfare" by Bob Larson.

Battle Command Against Demonic Spirits
As a result of the curse of Adam and Eve that is still in full operation on this earth, we are all stuck having to deal with the reality of demonic spirits. It has been estimated that as many as 25% of the miracles Jesus performed were Him casting demons out of people.
Like it or not, we have all been born into a war zone as result of what happened in the story of Adam and Eve. And not only are we all stuck having to battle with people who have chosen with their own free wills to live this life on the dark side, but we are also stuck with having to do battle with demonic spirits from time to time.
For most Christians, the most demons can do to us is to try and come in and start playing their mind-games with us from the outside. Unless you have a major hole in your hedge and have given a demon some kind of legal right to literally enter into your body - the most a demon can do to you is to try and attack you from the outside of your being - not from the inside of your being.
For those who have the problem of literally having demons operating on the inside of them - they will have to go through an actual deliverance process to get rid of those demons. You will first have to find out what the legal right is that allowed the demons to get in there in the first place. Then you will have to take care of that legal right before God the Father before you can cast the demons out.
Example - if you have drawn demons on the inside of you as a result of engaging in heavy drug activity or getting heavily involved in any type of occult activity - you will first have to confess this sin out before God the Father and then renounce it by telling Him you will never go back to it ever again. Once that has been properly done - then you can go after the demons on the inside of you and start casting them out.
However, for most Christians what demons will try and do is attack you from the outside. They are every good at playing mind-games with you.
The Bible says that we are transformed by the renewing of our minds. Our minds are thus the battlefield. Both God and demons will come after your mind. God will try and pull you into His ways of living in this life and demons will try and pull you into their dark ways of living in this life.
Many Christians have been lured and pulled into some of the dark ways and areas of these demons, and as a result, many have either died before their time was really up in the Lord, or they have been forced to live with the extreme consequences of some of the bad choices they have made.
I believe that many Christians who have committed suicide may have been operating under some kind of heavy demonic influence. We have 3 specific testimonies in the "Testimonies" section of our website where 3 girls came under direct demonic attack with demons literally trying to get them to take their own lives.
In each case - all three girls were very close to actually doing it until we showed them how to directly engage with these demons. In all 3 cases victory and deliverance was secured very quickly once they turned around and directly engaged with the demons trying to get them to take their own lives.

That is why the Bible tells us in the following verse:
"BE SOBER, BE VIGILANT; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. RESIST HIM, STEADFAST IN THE FAITH, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world." (1 Peter 5:8)
You don't want to get so paranoid and spooked that you are seeing demons around every possible corner - but you also don't want to go to the other extreme where you become completely ignorant of their reality and the ways in which they will operate in this world.
If you look closely at the wording in the above verse - you can really feel the solemn warning the Lord is trying to give to us. The verse starts out with 4 very powerful words in that we are to "be sober" and that we are to "be vigilant" in dealing with the reality of Satan and his demonic spirits.
It then goes one step further and says that we are to "resist him" by being"steadfast in the faith." Resisting the devil means you stand, fight and directly engage with him and his demons if you have to.
As I stated at the top of this article, we are all living in this war zone and we are thus all called to become good soldiers of Jesus Christ - no exceptions.
Demons will come after any Christian where they think they might be able to get some kind of foothold on. If God the Father allowed His Son Jesus Christ to be tempted by Satan while He was in the desert for 40 days - then you can bet the chances may be very good that you may have to deal with the possibility of having to directly engage with a demonic spirit sometime in your life.

When demons try to attack you from an outside position - they will basically try one of two things:
1. They will either try and hinder you in trying to progress from point A to point B in your walk with the Lord.
2. Or they will try and start playing mind-games with you in an effort to try and throw you into some kind of mental torment and sever your spiritual connection with the Lord.

When they move in for an attack in order to try and start playing mind-games with you - they will try and throw you into a depression, try to steal your joy and zest for living, and try to get you to start thinking very critically and judgmentally towards others so as to attack others to cause dissension and disunity among family, friends and co-workers. They will also try to attack your personal relationship with the Lord.

They will also try and tell you that you are not really saved, that you have committed the unpardonable sin of blaspheming against the Holy Spirit, and try to dissuade you from reading your Bible and continuing to try and grow in the knowledge and ways of God.

They will also try and run interference in your prayer life with God, and try to sever the inside spiritual connection that you have forged with the Lord. If you are not wise to their schemes and how they can play this kind of a mental mind-game with you - they can really make your life miserable, especially if you don't know that it is really them that is doing all of this to you.

Their mission is simply to "seek and destroy." The above verse literally says that Satan is looking for those who he can "devour." The word devour is an all-encompassing word. It means total and complete destruction and annihilation on whoever they may be coming after. Demons have absolutely no mercy on their victims. Their goal is total death and destruction on the ones they are attacking if they can go that far with it.

I believe that many of the teenagers who are committing suicide and killing one another in some of these high school shootings are operating under heavy demonic influence to commit some of these horrible acts of death and destruction.

Demons first start coming in on these kids planting their thoughts, desires and compulsions to do these kinds of horrible acts. After a period of constant bombardment from these demons, some of these kids literally start acting out on these thoughts and suggestions - not fully realizing that these thoughts and suggestions are coming in from an outside source - demonic spirits!

It simply amazes me that so many of these people, teenagers or adults, will act out on these murderous thoughts - knowing full well that it is wrong in the eyes of God and wrong in the eyes of society, and that they will end up in jail for the rest of their earthly lives if they get caught. This shows you how easily some people can be led - even to the point of literally being able to commit some of the most heinous acts that a normal person would not even think about doing.

Demons know this and that is why they try to pick their victims accordingly. This is why many of the high school shootings have not been committed by the bullies - but by the people who have been picked on and made fun of during a good part of their school life. They specialize in looking for vulnerable and weak-willed people who can be easily led and easily persuaded to buy into their demented and evil ways.

Demons can't make you do anything. All they can do is try and convince you to do what they want you to do. They can plant suggestions and thoughts into your mind to kill someone else, but they can't actually make you do it. They can also give you strong compulsions to try and kill someone - but the final choice always remains with that person as to whether or not they will actually pull that trigger. Demons cannot "make" a person pull the trigger - but they will do everything in their power to try and "persuade" that person to pull the trigger on his own. The fact that so many people in our country are committing these horrible acts of murder shows how powerful mental persuasion can be, especially if it is coming in from an outside source - either from demonic spirits or from other bad people who may also be trying to influence that person to kill someone else.

As Christians, we have something that the nonbeliever does not have. We all have the full power of God operating on the inside of us in the Person of the Holy Spirit Himself. We also have the fact that demons are already defeated animals. They have all been defeated by Jesus on the day that He was crucified for all of our sins. We are thus dealing with a defeated foe.
However, for many Christians, the subject of demons and spiritual warfare is too scary and too frightening to deal with and they would just prefer to keep their heads buried in their sand. As a result, demons are literally getting away with being able to tear some people apart with all of the murders, suicides, drug use, alcohol abuse, divorces, spousal abuse, abortions, thefts and premarital sex that is occurring across this country on a daily basis.
And most of this kind of dark side activity starts with a simple mind-game that the demon will start playing with the one that he has targeted. This is why the above verse says that we are to be "vigilant" and "sober" in keeping our eye out for any demonic activity that could easily set in on either ourselves, our families, or some of our close friends.

Again, you don't want to get so paranoid and out of balance that you are seeing demons around every possible corner - but you have to realize the reality of demons and the games they will attempt to play with either you or someone who may be close to you.

In this area of spiritual warfare, I have found something so simple, but yet so extremely effective in dealing with demons who have targeted someone to start playing their mind-games with from the outside. It comes off of the saying of nipping something in the bud before it even has a chance to sprout or grow.
Once you sense the presence of a demon trying to mess with you and your mind from the outside - you immediately, I repeat, immediately have to engage with him and drive him out and off of you before he even has a chance to work his claws into you to form any kind of mental stronghold. So how do you do this for those of you who don't know how to directly engage with a demonic spirit?
You directly engage with a demon by using "verbal warfare." The Bible tells us that the "Sword" of the Holy Spirit is the "Word of God." In other words, the Words of God operating in your mind and spirit that can be released out of your mouth is the Sword that you will use to go into combat with this demon!
Since you are a Blood-bought child of God the Father, saved through the Blood of His Son - you now have the legal right to be able to use the appropriate command words from the Lord to verbally engage with any demon who may attempt to come against you - operating under the full power, anointing and authority of God the Father Himself to be able to do this.

The Word of God is your Sword. Keep that Sword in your sheath - and don't be afraid to take that Sword out to chop off the head of any demon who may come after either you or any of your close loved ones. You are a soldier of Jesus Christ! Realize this fact - and directly engage with the enemy if that enemy should ever attempt to attack either you, anyone in your family, or any of your close friends. You do not have to become a punching bag for the darts and attacks of these demons. God has already given you His power in which to totally defeat this enemy. It is just a matter of every Christian realizing this fact and not being afraid to engage with the demons by saying the appropriate command words against them to drive them off of you.

Before I give you a good sample battle command in which to engage directly with a demon who may be attempting to come against you, I want to release a personal dream that God gave to me several years ago of which I will never forget on not being afraid to engage with a demon if you are ever forced to.
I then want to release a very personal testimony that I had with another girl who put all of this in full operation against a demon that had come in on her 6 year old daughter as a result of something that her husband had done to open the door of their house to this demon.

Personal God Dream on Engaging with Demons
In this dream, I am walking down a very dark alley. I then cross the street to get to the other side of where there was a sidewalk area for me to walk on to. I had just crossed the street and was just about ready to step onto this sidewalk - when all of sudden I sensed something very evil following directly behind me.
I looked behind me to see what it was. I see a dark hooded figure standing about 20 yards ahead of me getting ready to cross the street where I had just got done crossing. This hooded figure was looking directly at me and he was wanting to come directly towards me to attack me. I then tried to look directly at his face to see who it may be and all I can see is complete blackness. I could not see his face.
I then received an immediate knowing from the Holy Spirit that this figure was a demonic spirit wanting to come directly against me. As soon as these words are received, I then started to feel an immediate sense of panic and fear set in. I realize that I am no match for the physical strength of this demon and that I cannot defeat him operating in my own strength.
As soon as this fear and panic completely envelopes my entire body - I then feel the presence and power of the Holy Spirit rise up in me and He then says to me:
"Do not be afraid of this demon. I want you to show him that you have no fear of him. I want you to take 3 steps towards him and communicate to him that if he takes so much as one more step towards you - that you are going to directly engage with him and cast him out by the power and blood of Your Savior Jesus Christ."
After the Holy Spirit says this to me, I then feel His boldness rise up in me to give me the courage and boldness to move towards this demon to release this battle command.
I then take the 3 steps towards the demon. After the third step is taken, I then say to the demon - "If you take so much as one more step towards me - I'll hold out my right hand against you and Plead the Blood of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ directly against you."
After I communicate this statement to the demon, I can then tell that the demon knows that I know who I am in Christ, that I know how to wield the power of God through the Sword of the Holy Spirit, and that he has no intentions on trying to come against me.
It's as if he was calling my bluff to see if I knew who I really was in Christ and if I knew how to really wield the Sword of the Holy Spirit. As soon as he saw that I meant serious business with him, his whole being literally disintegrates in mid-air, just like what you would see in a science fiction movie.
This dream was like a simulation type training exercise. What this dream taught me was that I am to have absolutely no fear if I ever have to go face-to-face with a demonic spirit to drive him off of either me or anyone else who I may be helping.
As Christians, we all have the power of God the Father operating on the inside of us through the presence and power of the Holy Spirit. Demons are no match for any Christian who knows who he really is in his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ - and who knows how to wield the Word of God as his spiritual weapon!

Personal Testimony
This testimony is a perfect example of a girl who put all of this in actual operation against a demon that had entered into her house as a result of something that her husband had been involved in. Here is what happened.
All of this happened to a girl I used to work with. One day she called me up and wanted to run something by me that was really starting to trouble her. She was married, had 5 children - 3 girls and 2 boys. The youngest daughter was 6 years old. She then proceeds to tell me that her youngest 6 year old daughter started to manifest some strange behavior. About 4 months ago, her daughter all of sudden started to want to talk more about boys. She was wanting to try and wear heavier makeup and was constantly talking to both boys and men in a flirtatious manner. My friend stated that this change in her behavior literally started to occur overnight. Before this started to occur, she was a completely normal, pure and innocent little girl for her age of 6 years old. This sudden change of behavior was not at all like her. My friend initially thought it might be some type of strange phase that she was going through and that it would only last for a short period of time. However, when it kept going on and on for a good 4 months, she knew there was something wrong and that something else was triggering this, but she really didn't know what it was or how to stop it.
She then called me to see if I had any thoughts about what may be going on - especially in the spiritual realm. All of her children were active church-goers and they were all being properly brought up in the Lord by this woman.
The first thing I asked her was if any of the other children were exhibiting any of this strange behavior. She said that none of the other children had any noticeable changes in their personalities and that it was only the youngest girl that was manifesting this weird flirtatious behavior.
I then asked her if either her or her husband were engaging in any activity that could be opening up any doors for a demon to enter into the house. I got the immediate impression as she was telling me this story that there was something "on" this little girl.
She then tells me that her own personal slate was clean as far as any door opening activity to the dark side - but that she couldn't say the same thing about her husband. I then asked her to tell me what her husband was doing that could have possibly opened up the door to the dark side.
She then proceeds to tell me that her husband has been actively involved in surfing the internet for pornography and that he had been doing so on a very regular basis and for quite a long period of time. I then told her that it didn't take to much to put one plus one equals two on this situation in that her husband's continued and heavy usage of the pornography right in the middle of their house could have opened up a hole in their hedge allowing this demon to enter in.
I told her that it would be very easy to test this out to see if this is what the problem really was. Here is what I told her she would need to do:
I told her to wait until everyone was out of the house to do this. I told her to go into her youngest daughter's bedroom when everyone was out of the house.
I then told her she would have to go in there and speak out loud to the demons - telling them that she knows they are in there, that they have jumped on her daughter as a result of her husband's involvement with the pornography, that they have no direct legal right to be attacking her daughter since she was completely innocent of being involved in the pornography, and that they would all now have to leave her in the name of Jesus Christ.
She then asked me exactly how she should word this kind of battle command. Here was the basic battle command that I gave to her to drive these demons off of her daughter for good:
"I am now coming against each and every demon that has come onto my daughter as a result of my husband's involvement in pornography.
I know that you are all in here. I know that you have contaminated my daughter with your evil presence. My daughter is completely innocent of these charges. You thus have no legal right to be attacking her like you have been doing. I now come against each and everyone of you operating under the full authority, power and anointing of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I now Plead the Blood of Jesus Christ against each and everyone of you. I repeat - I now plead the Blood of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ against each and everyone of you.
Demons, in the name of Jesus Christ - you are to leave my daughter right now, and you are to never, ever come back on my daughter ever again. GO NOW - in the name of Jesus Christ. I repeat - GO NOW - in the name of Jesus Christ and be forever banished from our presence!"
My friend went ahead and did the above battle command one time. She said when she initially entered into her daughter's bedroom, she felt "electricity" manifest in the air - much like what you would sense when two fighters in a boxing ring are getting ready to square off in an all-out slugfest.
She then said when she woke up the next day, her youngest daughter was all of sudden back to her old self. No more talking about boys, no more asking to wear anymore makeup, and no more flirtatious behavior with the young boys and men that were in her life. Before my friend went toe-to-toe with these demons, she said her daughter was manifesting this flirtatious manner every single day. After she did the above battle command one time against these demons, she said her daughter immediately reverted back to her old self the very next day and there have been no further problems since.

This is a perfect example of a Christian mother who was being very sober and vigilant over her young children, and sought out help when she knew there was something not right - and then was not afraid to go into battle to take these demons out once she knew what the real problem was.
She said she had tried to get her husband off of the porn long before this all started to take place - but she has had no luck in that area. What is really scary about this story is the fact that her husband's involvement with the internet pornography apparently was enough of a door opening activity to allow these demons to enter into their house and then to be able to jump on their youngest daughter.
I wonder how many other husbands are putting their children at terrible risk if they are regular users of internet pornography right in the middle of their own homes.

The Battle Command
For those of you who are either battling the possibility of demons harassing and tormenting you or if you should ever run across this problem anytime in your future - here is a good, simple battle command that you can use to cast the demons off from you. This type of battle command is for demons who are attacking you from the outside.
However, if you have demons living and operating on the inside of you, then you may have to seek out someone who knows how to do an actual inner deliverance, since the demons have some type of legal right in which to continue to remain on the inside of you. You will need help in handling this kind of deeper problem.
But for those of you who may be dealing with a demon or a group of demons who are just tying to test you out and trying to attack you from the outside without any real legal right to be doing so - this type of battle command should easily do the trick for you in getting them out and off of you.
Remember - you don't have to become a punching bag for these demons and allow them to mentally harass and torment you. You can drive them off of you very easily and very quickly by taking up your Sword - which is the Word of God - and verbally speak out loud to them that they now have to leave you in the name of your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
You will have to say this battle command out loud as demons cannot read your mind or your thoughts. I would also hold out your right hand when speaking out this battle command. The right hand of God is His hand of deliverance and power. As a born-again believer and representative of God, you have the legal right and authority to be able hold out your right hand while operating under His authority, power and anointing when engaging with the dark side.
Here is the battle command. Feel free to add any additional words that will fit the specific situation you may be dealing with like the girl did in the above story. Also be sensitive to any specific words the Holy Spirit will want to give you when you start to engage with the demons. You may also want to consider writing this out on an index card so you can have it readily available should you ever have to face this kind of battle situation.

"If there are any demons that are attempting to attack, harass or torment me - I am now coming against each and everyone of you in the name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am now coming against each and everyone you operating under the full power, anointing and authority of God the Father and Jesus Christ.
In the name of Jesus, I now Plead the Blood of Jesus Christ against each and everyone of you. I repeat, I now Plead the Blood of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ against each and everyone of you.
In the name of Jesus - I now command you to leave me right now, and you are to never, ever come back on me again. GO NOW - in the name of Jesus Christ! I repeat - GO NOW in the name of Jesus Christ!"

This is the basic gist of a good battle command. Notice that you start off by telling them that you are coming directly against them in the name of Jesus, and that you are operating under the full power, anointing and authority of God the Father and Jesus Christ.
By making this kind of statement right at the very beginning with them - you are showing them that you are not attempting to come against them in your own power or in your own natural strength. You are letting them know right off the bat that you are coming directly against them operating under God's power and authority - not under your own power and authority.
Once they know that you know who you really are in Christ and whose power you are really operating under - they should leave very quickly without too much of a fight. Demons are no match for any anointed believer who knows who he really is in Jesus and who is not afraid to directly engage with them by using the Word of God as his Sword.
Remember - the Word of God is your Sword. Don't be afraid to take that Sword out of your sheath to take these demons head on - and cast them out from either you or anyone else that you know they may be attempting to come against.
Remember what David did with Goliath. He was able to kill that huge blasphemous creature with one well placed blow! You can do the exact same thing with any demons who should attempt to come against either you, any member of your family, or any of your close friends.
Always remember - you are a good soldier of Jesus Christ! Don't be afraid to directly engage with the enemy if he should ever attack you or any of your close loved ones!
Another battle weapon for your arsenal should you ever need it.

Battle Prayer to Break Legal Rights of Demons
n the article we have in the Spiritual Warfare section of our site titled "4 Levels of Spiritual Warfare Against Demonic Spirits," I gave you the 4 basic levels in which demonic spirits can attack people - which includes all Christians. This article will be dealing with the second level - which is when demons are allowed to attack as a result of a legal right given to them by the person they have targeted.
If by chance you have come across this article and have not read the above article on the 4 levels in which demonic spirits can move in for an attack - it would be my recommendation that you first read that article so that you can have a good basic understanding of what these 4 levels are all about and how this second level fits into the big picture.
In this second level - demons will move in for an attack once they see a person committing a door-opening, hedge-breaking sin and transgression against the Lord. In this second level, it doesn't make any difference if this person is a Christian or nonbeliever. There are rules to the spiritual war games that are going on behind the scenes in the battle between God and the devil for all of our souls - and demons themselves have to abide by these rules.
In the above article, I gave you the verse from the Book of Job which shows that we apparently have some type of protective spiritual hedge surrounding us or else demons would be constantly attacking everyone and we would all be in a state of constant warfare with them.
What happens in the spiritual realm is that this hedge can be broken by a person if this person commits a heavier type of sin or transgression against the Lord.
In that article, I gave you some of the heavier sins and transgressions against the Lord that could possibly break this hedge, thereby causing a hole to occur in it - giving the demons the opening and legal right to be able to start to come after you. For the purposes of this article, I will go ahead and re-state what some of those heavier sins and transgressions are.

As Christians, we can have absolutely nothing to do with any of the following areas:
1. The occult
2. False religions and cults
3. Any part of the New Age Movement
4. The homosexual lifestyle
5. Any type of Satan worshipping group
6. Any involvement with abortion or the abortion industry
7. Abusing alcohol
8. Doing any type of drugs - including pot
9. Any type of extreme verbal and/or physical abuse on your mate or children
10. Any type of promiscuous sexual lifestyle
11. Any type of criminal activity
12. Murder
13. Bringing a cursed object into your home

All of the above areas are extreme forbidden areas with our Lord. He will not be putting up with any of His own entering in and engaging in some of these heavier sin areas. If you do, and you do not pull out of it within a reasonable length of time, then God could pull back His hand of protection on you and your life, and you thus could end up with a hole occurring in your protective hedge - thereby giving the demons the opening and legal right to be able to come directly after you.
All of the above activities are major door openers to the dark side, and demons just wait for people, especially Christians, to cross over into some of these realms - knowing full well that they will have the appropriate legal rights to move in for an all out attack if that person does not pull out of it within a reasonable period of time.
If you are a Christian, and you have fallen into some of these dark side areas and have drawn demonic spirits into your life as a result - there is deliverance for you if you are willing to admit that you have sinned and transgressed against your Lord and Savior.
If you are willing to see the errors of your ways and are ready to renounce and pull out of the demonic area that you may have fallen into - then God can work with you to set you completely free from these demons and drive them out of your life for good. But you are first going to have to admit to God that you have sinned against Him by crossing over into some of these areas to begin with.
If you can't see, admit and realize that you have been sinning, and that you have been wrong by crossing over into some of these forbidden areas to begin with - then there will be no deliverance, and the demons will continue to have the appropriate legal rights to be able to stay attached to you and they will continue to tear you and your life to pieces.
To any of you who may have fallen into one or more of the above dark side areas and have drawn demons into your life as a result, and are really looking to be delivered from the bondage you now find yourself caught in - this article will give you a basic 5 step process on how to go about properly breaking the legal rights of the demons so that God can fully deliver you from their grip.
I will then give you a battle prayer that I had given to another woman who had drawn heavy demonic activity in her life as a result of crossing over into some of the above areas. This battle prayer will have all 5 of these steps properly incorporated into the prayer.
At the outset - you have one of two choices. You can either try the 5 steps I will give you below and attempt to do a self-deliverance on your own - or you can seek out the help and guidance from someone who is experienced with delivering people from demons. God is raising up more people at this time who know how to do deliverances, so you might be able to find someone close to where you live at that can help you with this if you are too scared to try it on your own.
From the personal experiences I have had with this kind of deliverance, many of these deliverances can be done as a self-deliverance - where you go before God the Father on your own, follow the 5 steps I will give you below, and then verbally engage with the demons telling them that they now have to leave you in the name of Jesus Christ once you have properly broken all of their legal rights before God the Father.
However, if after reading what these steps will entail, you still feel reluctant or too afraid to try this on your own, then the first thing that I would recommend is that you try and talk to your pastor if you belong to a church. Tell him what your problems are and see if he would be willing to work with you to get you delivered from these demons. If he can't or won't help you for whatever his personal reasons may be, then ask him if there is anyone else in his church that is experienced and anointed to be able to handle this kind of deeper problem.
If there is no one at your church who is experienced and anointed to do deliverances, then I would ask your pastor if he knows anyone else from any of the other churches in your area who can do a deliverance. If no luck with this option, then I would get into the yellow pages and start calling all of the main Christian churches in your area, and ask if they have someone that knows how to do deliverances. You may have to go into a seeking mode to find someone who will know how to do this. But don't give up on this - God will guide you on this if you ask Him to help you find the right person who can get the job done for you.
For those of you who would like to try and handle this on your own as a self-deliverance - especially if you cannot find anyone locally to help you out - here are the 5 basic main steps that you will need to do in order to be able to get complete and total victory and deliverance from these demons.

I will first list each one of these steps, one right after the other, so you can see exactly what you will have to do. Here are the 5 steps. 
1. The full surrender
2. Confess each one of your sins before the Lord
3. Renounce each one of your sins before the Lord
4. Break the legal rights of the demons
5. Verbally command the demons to now leave you in the name of Jesus Christ

Now I will go into exact detail on what you will need to do with each one of these specific steps so that you can get yourself completely set free from any demonic attack you may be under - no matter how long you may have been under this demonic attack and no matter how hopeless the situation may look to you in the natural.

1. The Full Surrender
The very first thing you are going to have to do is to be willing to come into a full surrender of you and your entire life with the Lord. We have another article in our site in the Bible Basics section titled "The Full Surrender."
In this article, I explain to you exactly what this full surrender is, give you all of the verses from Scripture to back up what God is looking for in this full surrender, and then give you a good sample full surrender prayer that you can actually use to go before the God the Father to make this full surrender with Him.
The very first rule in spiritual warfare, before you can even begin to do battle with demonic spirits, is that you have to be walking and operating in a full surrender with the Lord. If you are not willing to come into this full surrender with the Lord where He will now be the One to take over the reigns of your life and lead your life into the direction that He will now want it to go in - then there will be no help and no deliverance from these demons.
You have been running your own show over all of the years and now you are in a big mess as a result of drawing these demons into your life. The only way out of it now is going to be God's way - not your way! You will now have to fully submit and fully surrender every single part of your life over to the Lord for His handling and direction. God will now be running your entire life - not you or anyone else in your life - no matter how close you may be to certain other people in your life!
Here is the verse from the Bible that gives us this specific revelation:
"Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you." (James 4:7)
Notice the first four words - "Therefore submit to God" - and notice that this verse starts out with this command. What this means is that you firsthave to be willing to fully submit to God before you can even begin to resist and fight against the devil and his demons to make them flee from you.
Submitting to God means you have entered into this full surrender with Him. You have to be willing to fully surrender every part of your being to Him - body, soul and spirit, along with your entire life over to Him. Again, all of this is fully explained to you in our article titled "The Full Surrender" in the Bible Basics Section of our site.
If you are willing to make this full surrender with the Lord where He will now be the One who will be in total control of your life and lead it in the direction that He will now want it to go in - then you will now be ready for step 2.

2. Confess Each One of Your Sins Before the Lord
The next step to be able to receive total deliverance from these demons is that you are going to have to be willing to admit that what you were involved in were sins and transgressions against the Lord in the first place - and then you will have to be willing to fully confess out each one of these transgressions as actual sins before the Lord.
If you can't or won't admit that you have been sinning against the Lord with your involvement in some of the above areas - then again, there will be no help and no deliverance from your situation. As a result, the demons will continue to hold you captive until you can agree to see and do things God's way.
It's either God's way or the highway. There is no negotiating or trying to compromise your way out of this with the Lord. Sin is sin, and any involvement in any of the above areas are sins before the Lord - no matter what your excuse may have been for falling into some of these areas to begin with.
If you are willing to admit that what you have been involved in was wrong and sinful before the eyes of God, and then are willing to fully confess each one of these sins as actual sins before the Lord in the prayer I will give you below - then you will now be ready for step 3.

3. Renounce Each One of Your Sins Before the Lord
The next step, in addition to being willing to fully confess out each one of the transgressions as sins, is that you will now have to be willing to fully renounce each one of these sins before the Lord.
When you renounce each one of these sins before the Lord - what you will now be telling God is that you will never, ever go back into any of these heavy sin areas ever again. Before you decide to go before the Lord for your deliverance, you will first have to make sure that you really want to be set free from your sinful past, and that you will do everything you possibly can in your own natural power not to go back or fall back into any of these heavy sin areas ever again.
If you have fallen prey to some of the different drug addictions, ask God, through the power of His Holy Spirit, to help set you completely free from the addictions of whatever drugs you may have been hooked on. The Holy Spirit is there to help you out with His power if you are really wanting His help. There is nothing that the power of God cannot defeat and overcome in your life - no matter how hopeless or bleak the situation may look to you in the natural.
One word of caution in this area! Once you make up your mind to fully renounce any of these types of heavier sins before the Lord - you will have to make sure that you never, ever fall back into these same areas again. What will happen if you do is that not only will you give these demons another legal right to be able to come back after you - but these demons that will be coming back after you will be demons that will be 7 times more wicked and evil than what the original demons were that had attached to you in the first place.

In this article, I give you the verse from Scripture where this revelation is being given to us by the Lord, and the appropriate interpretation and commentary on what this verse is trying to tell us. It would be my strong recommendation that you also read this article as part of your education on this topic.

4. Break the Legal Rights of the Demons
Once you have fully confessed and fully renounced each of these heavier sin areas before God the Father - then you have just taken away all of the legal rights that the demons had to stay attached to you. Now you are ready to break those legal rights.
I will show you how to properly do this in the battle prayer I will give you below and how to properly word out this part of the prayer. Basically what you will be doing is verbally breaking the legal rights of the demons operating under God the Father's authority, power and anointing to be able to do so.
After you break the legal rights of these demons before God the Father, then you will be ready for the last and final step.

5. Verbally Command the Demons to Now Leave You in the Name of Jesus Christ
Once you have fully confessed and fully renounced each of the sin areas you had been involved in, and then have fully broken the legal rights of the demons before God the Father - then the last thing that will remain will be you turning around and verbally engaging with the demons - telling them that they no longer have any more legal rights to stay attached to you and that they will now have to leave you in the name of your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
You will have to verbally do this. Demons cannot read your mind or your thoughts - so you will have to verbally, out loud, command them to now leave you in the name of Jesus Christ. Again, I will show you how to word this part of the prayer in the battle prayer I will give you below.

The Battle Prayer
I am going to give you an exact battle prayer that I drew up for a woman who had drawn heavy demonic activity into her life as a result of falling into some very heavy dark side areas. This woman has given me permission to release the exact battle prayer that I had drawn up for her. However, it was agreed that I would leave her name out of it due to the very personal nature of some of the things she was involved in. I will substitute another name in her place so as to keep the flow of the prayer intact.
As you will see when I list out the legal rights that these demons had to come into her life in the first place - many of these sins were severe transgressions against the Lord, and these demons had more than enough legal rights to launch an all out full scale attack on her and her life.
This battle prayer is divided into two parts.
The first part being her confessing and renouncing each of her sins before the Lord, and then breaking the legal rights of the demons once those sins had been properly confessed and renounced before the Lord. The second part of the prayer will be when she then turns around and verbally commands the demons to now leave her in the name of Jesus Christ. Here are both parts of the exact prayer. I will then add some additional commentary after I give you this battle prayer so I can point out several things to you as to why I worded certain parts of the prayer as I did.

1. Prayer to Break Legal Rights of the Demons
Father,
In the name of Your Son Jesus Christ, I now approach Your throne in a time of great need, in time of an extreme emergency.
Father, as You already know, I have demons attacking me from the outside, and possibly from the inside of my being. I know why they are in my life. I have done some really bad and evil things in my life. I have horribly transgressed against both You and all of Your basic laws and commandments with the sins that I have personally committed against You.
Father, I first want to say to You that I am so sorry for doing all of these bad and evil things against You. There is no excuse for the kind of behavior that I have exhibited. But Father, I now want to take a strong stand. I do not want any more part of this kind of wicked and evil lifestyle. I know that You are My only hope and My only salvation to be able to deliver me from the demonic bondage I now find myself enslaved in as a result of crossing over into these kinds of heavier sins.
Father, I ask that You please have mercy on my soul, and that You please forgive me for all of the sins and atrocities that I have personally committed against You under the blood that Your one and only Son Jesus Christ has personally shed for me on the cross.

1.  Father, in the name of Jesus, I now want to formally confess out all of the bad, evil and sinful things I have personally done against You. Father, I now confess to you the following things as being sins and extreme abominations in Your sight:
1. My involvement in drugs.
2. My involvement in sex, fornication, unnatural and unholy sex acts - such as homosexual acts and thoughts, and being involved in a swingers type lifestyle.
3. My use of all kinds of pornography.
4. My past adulterous affairs and activities.
5. All of my past thefts and covetousness.
6. All of my envy and jealousy that I have ever shown against anyone, and all of my lying and deceit that I have ever been involved in.
7. All of the pride, impatience, hate and rage that I have ever shown or manifested over the years.
8. All of my involvement in the occult such as witchcraft, invocation of demons spirits and tarot cards.
9. All of the times that I have personally cursed You and prayed to other false gods.
10. Breaking all 10 of Your commandments to one degree or another.

Father, I now know, without any shadow of a doubt, that all of the above activities were heinous sins and abominations in your sight. I am so sorry for going this far against You.
Father, I know that Your Son Jesus Christ has died for all of my sins. Father, in the name of Jesus, I now ask that You please forgive me for every single one of the these sins and transgressions that I have personally committed against You. Let the Blood of Your Most Holy Son Jesus Christ completely wash away every ounce of stench, every ounce of each one of these sins that have been committed against You.
Father, you tell me in Your Word, that if I am willing to confess my sins and agree to repent, that You will forgive me of my sins and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Father, I now ask that You please forgive me for of all of my sins that I have personally committed against You through the blood that Your Son Jesus Christ has personally shed for me on the cross. I now believe that all of my sins have been completely forgiven and completely washed away by the Blood of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

2.  Father, I now want to agree to also renounce every single one of the above activities. You have my word that I will never, ever attempt to go back into any area having to do with the occult, any area having to do with sexual fornication, or any involvement in any kind of drug use whatsoever.
Father, in Jesus name, I now officially renounce every single one of the above sins and transgressions that have been committed against You.

3.  Father, the next thing I need to take care of is when my father raped me when I was a young child. I now know that what he did was evil and wrong in Your sight. However, I will choose not to hold any unforgiveness towards him.
Father, I choose with my own free will to fully forgive him for what he did to me when I was a young child. My father and the judgment on his life will now fall into Your hands - not mine. I hold no hate or animosity towards him. I ask that you please have mercy on his soul when he has to face You for his own personal judgment. I now fully forgive him for what he has done to me.

4.  Father, I now believe that all of my sins, transgressions and abominations against You have been fully forgiven by You under the shed blood of Your Son Jesus Christ. Father, I thank You for having this kind of mercy on my soul and that You have made a way of forgiveness for me through the Blood of Your Son Jesus Christ.
Father, with all of my sins and transgressions against You now being fully forgiven - I now want to once and for all break the legal rights that these demons have had over me over all of these years.
Father, in Jesus name, I now ask that You fully break the legal rights of these demons. I now ask that You completely break and completely sever every single one of their legal rights that has arisen as a result of my involvement in all of the above sin areas.
Father, in Jesus name, I now personally come against each one of these legal rights myself - operating under Your authority and Your anointing to be able to do so.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ - I now fully break and fully sever each one of these legal rights. Father, I repeat, in the name of Jesus Christ, I now command that every inch and every single part of this legal right line be completely broken, completely severed, and completely demolished in the name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I now plead the Blood of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ against each and every single part of this legal right line and command it to be completely broken right now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

5.  Father, I also want to reaffirm with you as I have done the other day, that I have now fully surrendered my body, my soul, my spirit and my entire life into Your hands. I now ask that You place me into Your perfect will for my life.
I am now willing to follow You fully all the rest of the days of my life. I will now be guided by Your Holy Spirit from this moment on - and I will never, ever cross back over into the sin-filled life I used to live in.
Father, I now belong to You, and You alone. You, and You alone, are my Rock and my Salvation. I will look to no other. My life is now totally in Your hands. Father, from this moment on, I will fully follow You and fully serve You for the rest of my eternal life.
Thank You Father.
Thank You Jesus.

2. Battle Prayer to Cast Out Demons
Sarah,
You have now broken all of the legal rights of the demons on the above prayer that I gave you. They are now ready to be cast out with the battle prayer I will now give you.
I would wait until everyone is out of the house and do this in private between you, God and the demons.
1.  The 1st part of the prayer will be you going to God the Father asking Him to anoint you with His power to cast these demons out and off of you for good. You will also be asking God to take this battle up for you and to have His power come through the Holy Spirit to drive these demons off of you.
2.  The 2nd part of the prayer will be when you will then turn around and verbally engage with the demons to now leave you in the name of Jesus.
3.  Say both parts of these prayers out loud so the demons can hear you loud and clear. Also, on the 2nd part of this prayer - hold out your right hand as you are telling the demons to now leave you. The right hand of God the Father is His hand of power and deliverance. As His born-again child, you now have the legal right to be able to do this.
I would say this prayer out loud 3x-4x over the next couple of days.

A) Father,
In the name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I now boldly approach Your throne of grace and mercy. Father, I now come before You to once and for all to take these demons out of my life for good.
I have already come before You confessing all of the bad and sinful things I have ever done to You throughout most of my life. I have also renounced my past activities and have told You that I will never, ever go back into those heavier sin areas again. Father, I have horribly wronged You with some of those past transgressions, and I am so sorry that I have ever gone against You and deliberately disobeyed You so many times.
But Father, now is the time to pick myself back up off the mat. Now is the time to make a brand new start with a brand new direction. I have already fully surrendered my body, my soul, my spirit and my entire life into Your hands. I have now entered into Your perfect will for my life. I am now all Yours. I now belong to You and no one else - and I will now fully serve You and fully follow You for the rest of my eternal life.
Father, now is the time to clean up one last loose end. As a result of my past involvement in some of these horrible transgressions against You - I have drawn demons into my life. I know that I have given these demons full legal right to come into my life and attack me like they have been doing with everything that I have done against You.
But now is the time to take a final stand against these demons! Now is the time to vanquish them out of my life for good! Now is the time to stand up and fight and directly engage with them - operating under Your full power and anointing to be able to do so!
Father, You have said in Your Word that "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out all of their troubles." (Psalm 34:17)
You have said in Your Word that "Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and Your right hand will save me." (Psalm 138:7)
Father, in Jesus name, I now ask that You send me into battle to cast these demons out of my life for good. You say in Your Word that You can "make me bold with strength in my soul" (Psalm 138:3) and that "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13)
Father, since I have now fully surrendered every part of my life into Your hands - I now want to take a hold of the verse that says to "Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you." (James 4:7)
Since I am now fully submitted to You - I am now ready to resist Satan and his demons who have been attacking and tormenting me over all of these years. Your Word tells me that Satan and his demons will now flee if I pick up my sword, which is Your Word - and directly engage with them.
Father, in the mighty name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I now ask that You stir Yourself up as a Man of War and go before me to take out this defeated foe. Your Word tells me that "The Lord is a man of war." (Exodus 15:3)
Your Word tells me that "The Lord shall go forth like a mighty man; He shall stir up His zeal like a man of war ... He shall prevail against His enemies." (Isaiah 42:13)
Father, in Jesus name, I now ask that You stir up Your zeal like a mighty Man of War off the wording of this verse.
I now ask that You go before me as a consuming fire. Your Word tells me that "The Lord your God is He who goes over before you as a consuming fire. He will destroy them and bring them down before you; You shall drive them out and DESTROY THEM QUICKLY ..." (Deuteronomy 9:3)
Your Word tells me that You will go before me and "make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron." (Isaiah 45:2)
Father, these demons have kept me prisoner long enough. I now ask that You go before me to make this crooked path totally straight again and that you break the bars that have been holding me captive over all of these years. I ask that You now completely cut and completely sever the cords of these wicked and evil spirits.
In Deuteronomy 33:27, it says that You "will thrust out the enemy from before you, and will say, 'Destroy!"
Father, I now ask that you anoint me from head to foot with Your anointing, with Your power, and with Your authority to take these demons head on. You have already told us in Your word that "in my name they will cast out demons," (Mark 16:15) and that You gave the early apostles the "power over unclean spirits" and that "they cast out many demons." (Mark 6:7)
Father, not by my might, but by Your Holy Spirit I will engage with and defeat these demons once and for all!
Father, Your Word tells me that no weapon formed against me shall prosper. Your Word tells me that I have been given "the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me" (Luke 10:19) and that "Through You we will push down our enemies, through Your name we will trample those who rise up against us." (Psalm 44:5)
Father, now is the time! Now is the time to drive this enemy out of my life once and for all!
Father, Your Word tells me that the Sword of the Holy Spirit is Your Word. Father, in Jesus name, let your Word be my Sword! Father, I repeat, let Your Word be my Sword!
B) (Say all of this prayer out loud and hold out your right hand when saying it)
"In the name of My Lord and Savior and my deliverer Jesus Christ - I am now speaking to every single demon that is on the outside of me and to every single demon that may be on the inside of me.
Demons, in the name of Jesus Christ, I now come against each and everyone of you. I know that you have all been in my life for many years. I also know why you have been allowed to enter into my life and attack me like you have been doing over all of these years.
I now know what all of your legal rights have been over all of these years that allowed you to attack me as you have been doing.
Demons, in the name of Jesus Christ - all of your legal rights have now been totally and completely broken before my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and my heavenly Father, God the Father. I have now fully submitted and fully surrendered my entire body, my entire soul, my entire spirit and my entire life into the hands of God the Father. I now belong to God the Father and my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I now belong to Them, and to Them alone in this life.
You no longer own me. You no longer have any more legal rights to stay attached to me. All of your legal rights and demonic strongholds have now been completely broken and completely demolished under the shed Blood of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I have now fully confessed my sin of using drugs over the course of my entire life. I have now fully confessed my sins of fornication and having sex with multiple lovers and partners over the years. I have now fully confessed my sin of watching any kind of pornography. I have now fully confessed my sins of past thefts and covetousness.
I have now fully confessed my sins of breaking all 10 of God's commandments to one degree or another during the course of my life. I have now fully confessed my sins of delving into parts of the occult that I had no business treading into. I have now fully confessed all of my sins having to do with my jealousy, rage and anger.
All of my sins have now been fully confessed and fully renounced before God the Father. All of my sins have now been fully forgiven.
My slate has now been made perfectly and completely clean. My sins and transgressions against the Lord are no longer remembered in His eyes. I am now a new creation in Jesus Christ. I am now totally committed to serving Him, and Him alone in this life. Never again will I go back into the sin-filled life that gave you the legal right to be able to come into my life in the first place.
Demons, in the name of Jesus Christ:
I now plead the Blood of Jesus Christ over my entire spirit.
I now plead the Blood of Jesus over my entire soul.
I now plead the Blood of Jesus over my entire body.
I now plead the blood of Jesus over this entire house.
Demons, the Word of God is now my Sword! I repeat, the Word of God is now my Sword!
I am now taking up my sword, which is the Word of my God, which is the word of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ - and I am now coming against each and everyone of you - whether you be on the outside of me or whether you be on the inside of me.
Demons, all of your legal rights have now been completely and totally broken to pieces - completely and totally demolished - completely and totally severed. I repeat - all of your legal rights have now been completely broken. Your time is up! You will all have to go now! I repeat - you will all have to go now!
To every single demon that is living and operating on the inside of me - I am now coming against each and everyone of you. I now plead the Blood of my Lord and Master Jesus Christ against each and everyone of you. I repeat - I am now pleading the Blood of Jesus Christ against each and everyone of you.
In the name of Jesus - I command you to come out of me right now and to leave me and this house - and you are to never, ever come back on me again. I repeat - every single one of you that may be on the inside of me is to come out of me right now in the name of Jesus Christ - and you are to leave my body, my soul and this house immediately! Go now, in the name of Jesus Christ! I repeat, go now in the name of Jesus Christ!
To every single demon who may be attacking me from the outside or who has been living in this house as a result of the legal rights I had earlier given to you, I am now coming against each and everyone of you. You too have had all of your legal rights totally broken. Not one of you has any more legal right to be able to stay attached to me in any way, shape or form. You will all now have to go.
In the name of Jesus Christ - I now plead the Blood of Jesus against each and everyone of you! I repeat - I now plead the Blood of Jesus Christ against each and everyone of you!
In the name of Jesus - I now command you to leave myself and my house, and you are to never, ever come back on me again. I repeat, you are to leave me and my house for good - and you are to never, ever come back on me again! Go now, in the name of Jesus! I repeat - go now in the name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and do not ever come back into my life or this house ever again!
Father, Jesus - I have full faith and belief that You have now driven all of these demons out of my body, out of my soul, out of my house and out of my life for good by the power of Your Holy Spirit.
Father, Jesus - I now ask that You protect both me and my family from this moment on, and that You never allow these demons come back on us ever again.
Father, Jesus - to You be all of the glory. To You be all of the praise, glory and honor that is only due to You.
Father, thank You for this deliverance. 
Father, thank You for this new life.
Father, I now ask that You take complete control on my life from this moment on and that You lead me into Your perfect will for my life.
Father, guide me by Your Holy Spirit into the direction and path that You will want me to take in this life. My life is no longer my own. I now belong to You, and You alone.
Thank You Father.
Thank You Jesus.
Thank You Holy Spirit."

Remarks
Note the following in the way this prayer was worded:
1.  This battle prayer is divided into two main parts. The first part of the prayer is where you go one-on-one with God the Father to fully confess and fully renounce each of the specific sins that you have committed against Him that have given the demons the legal right to be able to come directly against you. Also note that I had this woman apologize to the Lord for this kind of extreme activity. Many of her sins were heavy and extreme, and I felt she also needed to apologize to the Lord, as she knew that what she was doing was wrong and sinful in His sight.
If you have engaged in some of these heavier types of sins against the Lord, it would be my recommendation that you also apologize to the Lord from your heart for committing these types of heavier sins and transgressions against Him in the first place.

2.  Also note that her natural father had raped her when she was younger. As I stated in my article in "4 Levels of Spiritual Warfare Against Demonic Spirits" - if anyone has raped or severely abused you, you will have to be willing to fully forgive that person in the eyes of God. This could have been another possible entry point with these demons, so she had to close that door by telling God that she would be willing to fully forgive him for what he had done to her at such a young age.

3.  When you get into the second part of the prayer where she is going to go toe-to-toe with these demons to drive them off of her - first note that I had her go before God the Father to ask Him for His power and His anointing to be able to defeat and drive these demons off of her.
She could have just skipped this part of the prayer and just started to command the demons to now leave her in the name of Jesus since all of their legal rights had been broken earlier in the first part of this prayer. However, what you have to realize was that this was a more serious type of case. When someone has been beat up for so long from this kind of demonic attack - their faith and strength levels are not going to be operating at the same levels of what a normal Christian may be be operating at.
As a result, you first have to have them go before God the Father and ask Him for His power, His authority and His anointing to be able to drive these demons off of them. You also need to quote some good battle verses back to God the Father, asking Him to take this battle up for them, since they have been beat up from so many years of constant abuse and torment from these demons.
In the Spiritual Warfare section of our site, we have another article titled "Battle Verses of the Bible." In this article, I give you 100 of the best battle verses from the Bible. You thus have a whole range of different types of battle verses to pick and choose from to put into your own personal battle prayer. The battle verses I picked for this particular case were the ones I thought were best suited for what I was dealing with.

4.  Then notice as you get into the part where she starts to verbally engage with the demons. Instead of just starting out by commanding the demons to now leave her - I have her confront the demons and tell them that they have now been fully exposed, that all of her sins have been fully confessed and fully renounced before God the Father, and that all of their legal rights have now been fully broken and completely taken away from them.
Once the demons know and understand what has just happened between this woman and God the Father - they now know they have all been put on final notice that all of their legal rights are now gone. They now know that she knows who she is in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and that they will now be no match for her - since God will now be anointing her with His power to be able to cast them out and off of her for good.

5.  As she starts to come against them - also notice that I have her speak directly to any demons that may be living and operating on the inside of her, and any demons that may be attacking her from an outside position - which would be on the outside of her body.
When you come across someone who has crossed over into these kinds of heavier sins and transgressions - there is always a very good chance that some of the demons may have been allowed to literally enter in on the inside of that person's body and soul.
As I have stated in my article on the 4 Levels of Spiritual Warfare Against Demonic Spirits - Christians can draw demons into their bodies and souls if they cross over into some of these heavier types of sins. However, the demons will not be able to enter into that person's human spirit since the Holy Spirit already lives in there.
This woman had been saved for about 5 years before I met her - but the attacks from the demons never did stop. The reason the attacks had never stopped was due to the fact she had never properly broken all of the demon's legal rights and thus did not have the legal authority to be able to cast them out. Once she had fully confessed and fully renounced all of these heavier sins before God the Father - then the demons no longer had any more legal rights to be able to stay attached to her and they are now ready to be cast out.
Since I did not know what demons were operating on the inside of her or what demons were operating on the outside of her - I had her speak directly to both of them. This way she would be covering both of her bases.

6.  Also note that right in the middle of the battle I had her plead the Blood of Jesus over her entire spirit, over her entire soul and over her entire body. If any demons were trying to hold on to her during this battle - pleading the Blood of Jesus right in the middle of this kind of battle should break them loose since they are obviously no match for the power that is in Blood of Jesus Christ.

7.  I then had her finish out the battle command by pleading the Blood of Jesus directly against all of the demons, and then telling them that they now have to leave her since there is now nothing left for any of them to be able to hold onto. This is the part where you now tell them to leave you in the name of Jesus Christ and that they are to never, ever come back on you again.
The prayer is then ended with her telling both God and Jesus that she now believes that God has given her total victory and total deliverance from these demons, that she is now willing to fully follow God in the direction that He will now want to take her life in, and then thanking Him for the victory and giving Him all the praise, honor and glory that is only due to Him for this kind of an extreme deliverance.

Conclusion
I know many Christians will read this kind of testimony and really have a hard time believing that this kind of extreme activity really does occur in our walk with the Lord.
Many of these people who have been under heavy demonic attack for any period of time are very reluctant to tell anyone for fear of people thinking they are going nuts or that they are just imagining all of this. As a result of this kind of fear and paranoia - many of these people keep a lot of this kind of activity to themselves.
Many of the Churches don't like to talk about this kind of heavier activity for fearing of giving the devil his due or for fear that people will start seeing demons around every possible corner. As a result, you have some in the flock who are literally getting their heads knocked off by these demons - and everyone around them is completely oblivious as to what is really going on.
I really feel that was why Jesus Himself listed the command to cast out demons in every single one of the verses that I listed at the beginning of my article on the 4 Levels of Spiritual Warfare Against Demonic Spirits. Every single time that Jesus told His apostles to go out and walk with His anointing to save the lost and heal the sick - He always told them to also cast out demons where and when needed.
This specific command is in every single one of those verses! If God the Father is making sure that His Son had this kind of command in every single one of those verses - then You know that God is really trying to tell all of us something with this kind of an intense statement.
Bottom line - demons are real, and they are still allowed to roam in the air on this earth seeking who they are going to try and devour next. As a result of this dark reality, some Christians will come under direct demonic attack from time to time from some of these demons.
As I have said before, the apostle Paul could not have said it any better when he said our real battle in this life is not with flesh and blood, which are other people in this life - but against principalities and powers - which are demons and demon powers that are still allowed to roam this earth and interact with some of us until Jesus returns back to us in His second coming and then casts Satan into the Bottomless Pit.
Until that glorious event finally occurs, this world will always have to put up with a certain amount of attacks from demonic spirits. As Christians, this leaves us with one of two alternatives.
We can either choose to hide our head in the sands, hoping that Satan and his demons will never personally attack either us or those that may be close to us - or we can choose to rise up, be vigilant, be alert and be sober for any demonic activity that could set in on either us or our close friends and loved ones - and then be ready to go into immediate combat and take their heads off with the Word of God as our Sword like the Bible is telling all of us to do as good soldiers of Jesus Christ if they should ever move in for an actual attack.
For what is worth, we will continue to add more articles on this subject so this kind of information is available to anyone who may actually need it.
We have received numerous emails from people all around the world who have had to engage with some demonic spirits that were attacking them for various reasons, and some of them have been able to receive total victory and deliverance from the demonic attack they were facing with some of the basic 101 information and knowledge that we have released in these kinds of articles.
God says in His Word that His people will perish and go into captivity for having lack of knowledge. If you look closely at these two verses where God is making these two statements - I also believe that the reverse is true - that having the appropriate knowledge from God can help set you free and deliver you from any type of captivity that you may have already fallen into. And when demons launch an all out full scale attack on someone - that person will go into spiritual captivity until they can get themselves delivered from their grip by the power of God.
As Jesus has already told us - there is deliverance from any type of demonic bondage you may have fallen into. If Jesus was telling the early apostles that we are to cast out demons and that we will have His power and His authority to trample over all the power of our enemies - then people can be set free from these kinds of extreme cases.
Once again, God the Father could not make things any more clear on these kinds of issues and topics with all of the revelation and knowledge that He has given to us in His Word. This knowledge and revelation is all there for the taking for the seekers who are willing to grab a hold of it, study it, and then seek to implement it into their daily walk with our Lord and Savior.
And to think that all of this revelation and knowledge is contained in just one glorious Holy Book - unbelievable!
 

How to Handle Negative Feelings When Wronged by Someone Else
 recently received an email from someone asking how can a Christian really handle negative feelings and emotions when wronged by someone else - especially if the wrong is vicious and nasty.
The Bible tells us that God is asking all of His people to live on a higher level than the nonbeliever. The Bible tells us to forgive those who trespass against us, to turn the other cheek if warranted, to love our enemies, and to do good to those who will deliberately hurt us.
God is so insistent on us being able to forgive those who will hurt us, that He tells us that He will not even hear our prayers if we are holding any unforgiveness toward anyone else.
However, as we all know through real life experiences, all of the above principles are easier said than actually done. How do you handle negative feelings such as anger, bitterness, the desire to seek revenge, and sometimes outright hate towards someone who has viciously wronged you?

How do you handle and get a grip on these types of negative feelings and emotions when:
· Some drunk driver has just killed your son or your spouse
· Someone has raped or sexually abused you
· Someone has just abducted and killed your daughter or son
· Your husband has been physically abusing you for years
· Some scam artist has just stolen all of your life’s savings
· You have just found out that your spouse has been cheating on you
All of the above scenarios are torpedo shots that can knock anyone of us straight to the ground. However, how we handle these adversities and how we bounce back from them will determine the quality of our lives with what time we still have left.

If you do not get a grip on these negative emotions when they start to try and settle on the inside of you as a result of a vicious wrong - then those negative emotions will start to eat you up alive the same way cancer will eat and ravage a human body. These negative emotions will steal most, if not all of your joy, love, and peace that you have obtained as a result of your close walk with the Lord.
Some Christians will even lose their faith or their close personal relationship with God as a result of taking this kind of serious hit. They get mad at God. They start questioning God. How could He allow this wrong to occur? Why didn't He protect them?

When I first made the discovery that the Holy Spirit is alive and well on the inside of each believer and that it was His job to transmit knowledge to us, I started tapping in and asking questions on many different topics and issues. The Bible tells us that the Holy Spirit will "teach us all things" and "guide us into all truth." The Holy Spirit can and will communicate to those who will seek after His knowledge.
I went directly to God the Father on all of the above and asked Him - how can someone possibly get a grip on some of the above scenarios where some of these attacks are so vicious and so evil? How can you ever forgive someone who has just killed a close loved one, much less ever get over the anger, wrath, and bitterness that will settle in on you as a result of this type of extreme trauma?

I believe the Lord has given me very good insight and bottom line answer on this dilemma. Again, this answer came in the form of a one-two punch - it has two sides to it.
In order to be able to truly forgive someone and to be able to truly let them go into hands of God where you can get an "inner healing" on all of the negative emotions that may have built up in you over the course of time, there are two things that each Christian must get a firm and solid grasp on. These two principles are as follows.

1. The Big Picture
The first thing each Christian must "realize and see" is what I call the big picture. You first have to step away from your problem and see things for the way they really are.
Bottom line - the time that we will all spend on this earth is just a blink of an eye compared to the time that we will all be spending in eternity once we die and cross over. Heaven is for eternity - our life on this earth is just for a very brief moment compared to the eternal time frame that is operating up in heaven.
The first thing that each Christian must get a hold of when being seriously wronged by someone else in this life is that the person who has viciously wronged you will have to come before God Almighty Himself for a personal judgment once he dies and crosses over!
The Bible tells us that not only is God our Father - but He is also a Judge. And as a Judge, He will be judging every single one of us when we die and cross over - which includes both Christians and nonbelievers.
When Christians die and cross over, the Bible tells us that we all have to appear before the judgment seat of Christ to directly face Jesus for all the good and bad things that we have ever done in this life. This judgment will not cast us into hell since we have all been saved and born again through the blood of Jesus. However, I have a very funny feeling that this judgment that will be rendered upon each Christian will somehow determine what kind of reward and place he or she will have in heaven.
Per the article I recently did titled "Rewards in Heaven," the Bible says that there will be crowns and rewards for those who have done good in this life as compared to those who have done nothing with the allotted amount of time that has been given to each one of us in this life.
If another person has seriously wronged you and they do not get this sin forgiven under the Blood of Jesus before they die - then they will have to face God’s judgment for the specific wrong they have done to you!
This is why you can let any wrong go into the hands of God. When everything is all finally said and done, God will be the final judge on all matters, and He will be the One to right all of the wrongs that have ever been done to you - whether it be from another Christian or from a nonbeliever.
The Bible tells us that "Vengeance belongs to the Lord" - not to us! It is God’s job and responsibility to right all of the wrongs ever done to us in this lifetime - not ours! God will be getting even for you!
This is why each Christian can truly let any wrongs go into the hands of God the Father. You have to believe and trust that God will properly handle each of the wrongs that have ever been done against you in this life.
In the case of the nonbeliever, the Bible tells us that all of them will be pulled up out of hell at the end of the 1000-year millennium to face God for what is called the Great White Throne Judgment.
The Bible says there is a Book that records all of our works and deeds that are done in this life, and God will be judging each one of these nonbelievers according to all of their works and deeds. The implication is that most, if not all of them, will be thrown into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone where the smoke of their torment will ascend forever and ever.
If someone has raped you, sexually abused you, or murdered a close loved one - many of these evil people will end up being cast into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone - and that will be for all of eternity!
Justice will have been more than done for you in some of these more extreme cases where their final fate and end will be them being cast into the most horrible place imaginable for all of eternity!
When you watch some of these criminal court cases on TV - closure is only partially granted to the victims when the murderer has been caught and successfully tried and prosecuted. Depending on the state where the trial takes place, the convicted murderer will either get life in prison without the possibility of parole or the death penalty if that state has it.
When the victims of these evil crimes are interviewed after the jury verdict comes in, they all say they feel some relief and some closure as a result of this person getting caught. However, the victims of these types of extreme crimes are now stuck with the task of getting their lives back in order and they will now have to deal with all of the negative emotions that have settled in on them over this course in time.
How they handle these types of negative emotions and feelings will determine the quality of their lives from here on in. If they do not get a proper grip on these intense negative emotions and some kind of inner healing on them - they will spend the rest of their earthly lives with a lot of their love, joy, and peace either completely gone or seriously diminished in the Lord.
So the first thing each Christian must grab a hold of if faced with this kind of worst case scenario is that even though the criminal got caught, tried, convicted, and properly sentenced - that is just the beginning.
Where the real judgment will occur is when that person dies and crosses over to meet his Maker - God Almighty Himself! This person will then face his ultimate and final judgment for the serious wrong he has inflicted upon you - and this judgment may possibly get him thrown into the real hell for all of eternity!
All of the above is what I call the big picture. This is the real reality from God's point of view and perspective. Once you fully grasp and fully realize that God will eventually be judging each person that has seriously wronged you to any degree in this life - then you can truly let the matter go into His hands. It's finished as far as you are concerned! It’s a done deal!
This is why God tells us in the Bible to cast all of our cares and burdens upon Him - because it His job to take complete care of them for you and to right all of the wrongs where they do exist.
Sometimes God will right the wrong for you in this lifetime. The person who has wronged you will reap the consequences of his actions and God will make sure that those consequences hit him full force while he is still living down here on this earth.
Other times, this person will not face the eternal consequences of his actions until after he dies and comes before God for his own personal judgment. Some people will literally get away with cold-blooded murder in this life. The police or the criminal justice system will never catch them. However, their days are numbered in this life, and as soon as they die and cross over, they will all have to face God for their ultimate and final judgment.
It always amazes me that so many criminals think they can just live out this life doing whatever they want - and think they can actually get away with it because they have managed to evade the law for such a long period of time. Boy are they going to be in for a big surprise when they die and cross over and find out what is really waiting for them on the other side!
As a Christian, you have to step back and look at this big picture when you have been wronged, and realize that God will handle each of these wrongs and that true and final justice will eventually be granted to you - either in this life or the next to come.
However, even if you have grasped and believed in all of the above, you are still left with one more problem. You now know God will eventually be righting all of the wrongs ever done to you when it is all said and done. However, how do you get rid of the negative feelings that have settled in on you as a result of experiencing some of these vicious wrongs?
You know God does not want you carrying around feelings of hate, anger, wrath, bitterness, and depression. You keep telling yourself that you are not going to allow these types of feelings and emotions to have any part of you - but no matter how hard you try, you just can't seem to get any victory over them.
You can still feel these negative emotions rolling around down in your soul and spirit. These negative emotions and feelings continue to rob you of your joy, peace, and love for God and others. You have lost your zest for life and you just can’t seem to get it back - no matter how hard you try, no matter how many pep talks you give yourself, no matter how much you pray to God and talk to others about it, and no matter how many counselors you see.
You feel like you are carrying around a 50-pound anchor around your waist. Everything is a chore. Nothing brings you any happiness anymore. You hardly ever smile. These negative emotions are eating you up alive on the inside. You feel like you are a walking dead man - a zombie.
You are really trying to forgive the father who has sexually abused you during your childhood years – but you just can’t seem to really do it - no matter how hard you try. These negative feelings are like a "yoke" - they just seem to keep sticking to you on the inside.
The Bible talks about the "yoke of bondage." These negative feelings have you bound up and you can’t seem to break them off of you.
So what is the answer? How do you break these negative feelings off of you? There is only one way and that leads us to the second principle of this one-two punch - and that is the right cross - the power of the Holy Spirit!

2. The Power of the Holy Spirit
We as humans only have a certain amount of natural strength, not only within our natural physical bodies, but also within our souls and spirits where our intellect and emotions reside. Each person only has a limited amount of mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical strength at his disposal.
Some people can bounce back from adversity better and quicker than others. We have all seen that. However, we all have our breaking points, no matter how strong we think we are. We can only lift so much with our physical bodies - no matter how many steroids a bodybuilder may take.
We all have different levels of mental and emotional strength. Some are stronger in their minds than others. We see this mental strength in many of our professional athletes. Some of these athletes can do and accomplish things a normal person cannot do - not only because they are physically stronger, but also because they are mentally stronger. They don’t give up as quickly as someone else would. How many times have we seen professional athletes amaze us when in the heat of extreme adversity - they plow through on sheer will power and mental strength to achieve total victory?
Some are also stronger in their emotions than others. We can see this in the different ways people react to severe tragedy. Some can bounce back quicker - they don’t hold any grudges against anyone for the tragedy. Life is too short for them to dwell on the negative aspects of the tragedy and they prefer to press on with the rest of their life and let the past go. Others cannot do that as easily.
They can’t let the past go. They don’t have the emotional strength to get a grip on the negative emotions that have settled in on them. Before they know it, they are mired down into a depression and they are holding grudges against the wrongdoers and are mad at everything and everybody in the world. They can’t get over the negative feelings they are experiencing and before long - they have lost all of their joy and zest for living.
Too many Christians are in this second boat. They have been hit with some serious torpedoes and they can’t seem to get back up to start living again. The negative emotions that have set in on them are literally killing them!
Many in the medical profession believe that negative emotions can help lead to cancer and other various diseases and illnesses. Not only can these negative emotions kill you mentally, emotionally, and spiritually - but they can also lead to diseases and illnesses that can physically kill you.
To those Christians who can’t seem to get back up and get over the wrongs done to them by others - who don’t have enough mental, emotional, and spiritual strength within their own makeup to work these negative emotions out of themselves - there is only one answer for them.
And that answer is they simply have to go to God the Father in prayer and ask Him, by the power of the Holy Spirit, to remove all of the negative emotions that are eating them up alive. They have to tell God that they don’t have the strength within their own emotional and mental makeup and that they need His supernatural power to pull all of these negative emotions and feelings out of them.
If you go direct to God the Father with a sincere request to help you out with this kind of a dilemma - God will help deliver you from the bondage of these negative emotions and feelings. God will literally do "inner spiritual surgery" on you to help pull these negative emotions out of you.
This is a supernatural work done by the Holy Spirit Himself. Since the Holy Spirit is the One who lives on the inside of you - He is the One who will actually do the inner spiritual surgery to pull all of these negative emotions out of you. However, you first have to go direct to God the Father and ask Him to release this kind of deliverance power to you - which He will do through the power of the Holy Spirit.
The Bible tells us that the Holy Spirit is our Helper. He is there to help us out on anything that we may need His help on. And one of the things that He loves to get involved in is the transformation process - the sanctification process to make you into a better and more holy person - mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

When you ask God to take these kinds of negative emotions out of you - it can sometimes happen very quickly - possibly within seconds, minutes, days or weeks. Or it could take a bit longer, perhaps spread out over several months - which would be more of a progressive type healing. God is the Surgeon, so let Him decide how He wants to work this inner surgery and how long He wants to take to do it with you.
Once this inner spiritual surgery has been completed by the Holy Spirit, you will no longer "feel" these negative emotions. You will still have full "memory" of the anger you may have felt against someone who has wronged you, but you will no longer feel that anger. God has miraculously and supernaturally removed the "feelings" of that emotion from you. This is what is called an inner healing.
So many Christians are mired down in depressions as a result of life’s torpedoes that have hit them. If they would only simply approach God the Father in sincere prayer and ask Him for His power to heal them on the inside - He would be more than happy to meet them all the way and clean them up on the inside. But these Christians are not getting this type of deliverance from God simply because they have never approached and asked Him specifically for this kind of deliverance. The Bible says "You have not because you ask not." Many times, God will not move in with His deliverance power on your situation until you first ask Him to do so in prayer. Sometimes it really is that simple!
Too many Christians are running to psychologists, psychiatrists, and counselors, not to mention the drug store for their favorite tranquilizer or anti-depressant medication. The number one selling prescription drug for the year 2001 was anti-depressant medication! And I have to believe there were many Christians in that boat.
We as Christians have the greatest Counselor, the greatest Teacher, the greatest Deliverer, the greatest Healer living right there on the inside of us - the Holy Spirit! The Bible calls Him the "Counselor." And not only are His services completely free, but the Holy Spirit is God and Lord Himself, and as God, He has maximum power to handle and deliver you from any problems that can come your way - whether they be mental, emotional, spiritual, or physical.
The Holy Spirit can also get at the root of your problems - especially when you get into the emotional realm of your being. He will pull these negative feelings out at the roots so they don’t keep coming back on you. Anti-depressants just cover or mask the problem. They never get at the root of the problem. The same with doctors and counselors. They can talk all day long about your problem - but they do not have God’s full supernatural power to literally pull these emotions out at their roots to bring about a full inner healing on these negative emotions.

Sometimes talking about your problems to counselors or others will help release a part of these negative emotions - but only the supernatural power of God can actually get at the real root of these problems and pull all it out at that root. Neither you, the doctors, or any type of drug can do this for you - only God can! The above principle also applies to trying to forgive someone who has seriously wronged you. You know God wants you to forgive this person - but your feelings are not lining up with what is coming out of your mouth. You tell God you have forgiven this person, but yet you still feel the anger and the bitterness against this person.
What you do in this case is to tell God, with a confession out of your mouth, that you will forgive this person - even if your don’t really feel like you have forgiven this person within your own feelings and emotions.
God will take and accept the confession out of your mouth that you have truly forgiven this person, even if your feelings are not lining up with this confession. But then you go to part two and ask God to take these feelings of unforgiveness out of you and He will do it just like He will do with your other negative emotions. All of a sudden, after a certain length of time, you will feel it on the inside of your heart and your spirit that you have now truly forgiven this person and that you are no longer holding any grudges or feelings of anger, bitterness, or resentment toward this person.

You have truly let this person go - knowing that his fate and the consequences of his actions are now fully in the hands of God. You are now free and you can now start fully living again. The Bible tells us that no one is fit for the kingdom of God if they keep looking back on their past and dwelling on it. The apostle Paul says that he forgets those things that are behind him and continues to press forward for the things that now lie ahead of him.
The Bible tells us that Jesus has come to set the captives free - and one of the greatest areas of captivity for many of us is in our own minds. The Bible tells us that a man is as he thinks. In other words, you can become what you think. Your thought life, what you think about and dwell on, can make or break you in this life. This is why the Bible tells us that we are actually transformed by the renewing of our minds. You have to learn how to develop right thinking in your mind and thought process.
I’ll end this article with some good Scripture verses on all of the above points. Some of these verses have already been mentioned in some of my other articles, but for the sake of this article and the specific points being talked about, I will go ahead and state these verses once again due to the extreme importance of each of them.

The Scripture Verses
For those of you who are really battling with yourself on being able to get over the hurts and injustices of your past, really study and meditate on the following verses.
Jesus has already told us in His Word that His truth will set us free. But before His Word and truth can start to work to set you free - you have to know exactly what those truths are, and then seek to understand them, and then get them implimented into your way of thinking. These truths have to become a part of your right thinking in the Lord.
The Scripture verses I will list below are given you Jesus' truths on this particular subject matter. These truths can work to set you free in this realm if you will do your part and assimilate these truths into your way of thinking in this life.

1. The Judgment of God
Here are several good verses showing us that we will all appear before the judgment seat of Christ after we die and cross over - no exceptions! Notice this first verse says that "every secret thing" and that "every work," whether it be good or evil, will be brought before God for His judgment.
Thus anyone who has unjustly wronged you in this life will have to answer to God when they face Him for their own personal judgment if that wrong has not been confessed and forgiven before they die. I believe all of these verses are literal interpretation and they mean exactly what they are saying!

· "For God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether it is good or whether it is evil." (Ecclesiastes 12:13)
 
· "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad." (2 Corinthians 5:10)
 
· "And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account." (Hebrews 4:13)

If more people knew about these kinds of verses and the seriousness of each of these verses, more people would think twice before deciding to unjustly attack or hurt another person.

2. Letting Go of the Past
Here are two very good verses on God wanting us to let go of the things in our past and to continue to press forward to accomplish His perfect will and plan for our lives. The first verse is from the apostle Paul and the second verse is coming direct from Jesus Himself.

· "... but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead. I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 3:13-14)
 
· But Jesus said to him, "No one having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God." (Luke 9:62)

Life is simply way too short to be wallowing in the hurts and injustices of your past. God will be righting all of the wrongs ever done to you in this life. This is why you can fully let go of your past and start fully living in your present again.

3. You Are What You think
Here is a short, but very powerful Scripture verse telling us that a man will become as he "thinks" in his heart. If you think and dwell on happy and positive type thoughts, then you will become a happy and positive type person. However, if all you do is think about and dwell on the negative side of this life, then you will become a negative and depressive type person where people will not want to even be around you. Here is the verse:

"For as he thinks in his heart, so is he." (Proverbs 23:7)

The Bible says that we are transformed by the renewing of our minds. We have to learn how to develop right thinking in our thought process. Our thought process does not control us - we control it! We can choose to decide what we want to think about and dwell on.

4. Sowing to the Flesh
According to the Bible, the people who have unjustly wronged you in this life are sowing to the flesh. They are sowing to the dark side of their personality as versus sowing to their spirits, which is their good side, when they unjustly wrong others for their own gain and profit.
This next verse specifically tells us that if these people sow to their flesh with these types of unjust actions against you, then they will eventually "reap corruption" - which is death. This verse tells us that God will not be mocked and they will literally reap what they have sown against you. Here it is:

"Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to the flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life." (Galatians 6:7-8)

This verse gives us another reason to be able to let anyone go into the hands of God who has severely wronged us in this life. Sooner or later, they will all reap what they have sown - and for some of them - it will be eternal punishment in the most horrible place imaginable.

5. Unforgiveness and Loving Your Enemies
Here are three verses telling us that God wants us to forgive those who have wronged us, and for us to be able to love them, to do good to them, and to pray for them. This is a tall order, but it is possible with the help of the Holy Spirit guiding us in this.

"But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you ..." (Matthew 5:44)

This next verse tells us that not only are we not to hate anyone - but we are not to take any type of vengeance against someone who has wronged us. This verse also tells us that we are not to hold any grudges against anyone else and that we are to love others as we would love ourselves.

"You shall not hate your brother in your heart ... You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord." (Leviticus 19:17)

This next verse really warns us of the consequences of not fully forgiving others who have trespassed against us. When someone has unjustly wronged you, they have trespassed against you. In this verse, God tells us that if we do not forgive those who have trespassed against us, then He will not forgive us when we trespass against others.

"For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." (Matthew 6:14-15)

And if we don’t get God's forgiveness for our trespasses down here on this earth, then we will have to face Him for judgment for these trespasses when we die and cross over to meet Him face to face. This is truly a dire and strong warning from the Lord in that we are not to carry any unforgiveness in our hearts toward anyone - no matter how bad they may have wronged us.

6. Vengeance Belongs to the Lord
For those of you who have been seriously wronged and are contemplating some type of payback, some type of vengeful act against that person - look very closely at this next verse.
This verse tells us that we are not to repay evil with evil. In other words, God is telling us that any type of vengeful act that we try to take against someone who has wronged us will be considered an evil act on our part. And as such, we will either have to face His judgment in this life or in the next life for taking this vengeful act.
We are not allowed to take the law into our hands - either on earth or in heaven. Vengeance and payback belong to the Lord - not to us or anyone else who would like to try and get even for you!
I know there are some people who say they would kill others if anyone ever harmed any of their loved ones. But if you payback death with death, you will have to answer to God for your act of vengeance. This verse tells us to do just the opposite - to pay back evil, to overcome evil with goodness.
God will be the final Judge, Jury and Executioner on the evil someone may have done to you. This is His territory - not yours!
Here is a major power verse every single Christian really needs to grab a hold of if they have ever been seriously wronged or injured by the evil acts of another.

"Repay no one evil for evil ... live peaceably with all men. Beloved, do not avenge yourselves ... for it is written, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay," says the Lord. Therefore if your enemy hungers, feed him; if he thirsts, give him a drink ... Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." (Romans 12:17-21)

Again, do not tempt your eternal fate with God the Father by attempting to take the law in your own hands if someone has viciously wronged either you or a close loved one.
The Bible says that murderers will not be entering into the kingdom of heaven - and that may include you if you decide to try and take another person's life as payback for something they may have done to either you or someone else in your family.

7. Judge Not
These next four verses are again strong warnings from the Lord that we are not to judge others, that judgment belongs to Him, and that we will all eventually be judged by God for all of our transgressions that have not been forgiven under the Blood of Jesus before we die.

"Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged ..." (Matt 7:1)

· "Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven." (Luke 6:37)

These next two verses are from the apostle Paul. He lays it out very clearly and very simply that we are to judge nothing before the time of God’s personal judgment on all of us. Paul says that God will bring to light all the hidden things of darkness when this judgment occurs and until it does, we are to go on living our lives trying to resolve what we can with our neighbor and live in harmony as best we can with him.

"... but He who judges me is the Lord. Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the heart ..."
(1 Corinthians 4:4-5)
 
· "But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ ... So then each of us shall give account of himself to God. Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather resolve this, not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall in our brother’s way." (Romans 14:10-13)

Again, God the Father could not make things any more clear than by the way He has worded all of these verses. All of these verses are giving us major warnings in that we are to fully forgive all of our trespassers and that we are to let everyone go into the hands of God who has seriously or viciously wronged us in this life.

Conclusion
Until it is our time to depart from this life, each and everyone of us will have to put up with a certain amount of wrongs coming from other people. We have all been hit with these wrongs and will continue to be hit with them until we finally cross over to be with our Lord for all of eternity.
People are imperfect and many of them will choose to live their life out of their flesh - where their only concerns in this life is to get as much as they can, while they can, and not caring who they run over and hurt in the process. Some of these people are living their lives on a lower level than animals, as their only goals in this life are for total and complete self-gratification of all their own needs and desires.
Until God finally prunes out all of these bad apples and we finally get the New Heaven and New Earth as foretold to us in the Book of Revelation, each one of us will have to handle these wrongs as they come to us.
For those of you who have taken some real shots in your past or possibly your present - just remember the big picture. God will eventually be judging all of these people for all of the wrongs they have ever done to anyone - including what they have personally done to you.
Until then, don’t let the actions of a few bad apples ruin the rest of your life with what little time you still have left. Life really is way too short and you only have one chance to live this life to its fullest for the Lord. Make the most of what time you still have left. God will be evening out all of the scores when it is all finally said and done. There will eventually be true and final justice for all.
 
Battle Prayer to Break a Generational Curse Line
This article will serve as followup to the article I just did titled "4 Levels of Spiritual Warfare Against Demonic Spirits" that is listed in the Spiritual Warfare section of our site. If by chance you have come across this article before reading the article on what those 4 levels are all about - it would be my recommendation that you first read that article so that you can see how this particular level fits into the big picture.
This article will be dealing with the 4th level mentioned in that article - and that is how to cast out demons that are attacking someone as a result of a generational curse line that has formed out between that person and one or both of his severely dysfunctional sinning parents.
The Bible tells us that the sins of the father can be "visited" down to 3 or 4 generations of future children. Here is the verse that specifically tells us that this is a definite possibility if the sins of the father are considered to be extreme enough by God the Father:
"You shall not make for yourself any carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments." (Exodus 20:4-6)
What does God mean by the word "visiting" - visiting the sins of the father down on 3 or 4 generations of future children? The Bible tells us that the "wages" of sin will always be death. In other words, sin has consequences, and if the sins are on the more heavy and serious side - then the consequences could be extreme.
I believe that God the Father is giving all of us major revelation with this verse. As a result of a sinning parent's severe transgressions against the Lord - sometimes demons will be allowed to attach to the sinning parent.
Once they attach to the sinning parent, they will then attempt to try and jump and transfer onto some of the children in the family to form out a curse line. If this curse line ends up getting formed out - then the demons will follow that child into his adult life and try to get him to commit the same type of sins that his sinning parent had been committing.
This is why alcoholic fathers sometimes produce children that end up becoming alcoholics themselves - all as a result of a curse line that had been formed out between that child and his alcoholic father - with demons feeding and operating on that curse line trying to influence the child to go in the same direction his sinning parent had been going in.
Here is a perfect example of how this principle will work in our natural realm. I gave this as an example in my article on the 4 Levels of Spiritual Warfare Against Demonic Spirits - but I want to once more re-state this example and re-emphasize exactly what goes on behind the scenes in the spiritual realm that will give demons a legal right to start and try to attach themselves to some of the children of a sinning dysfunctional parent or parents.
Say you have a father who is a severe alcoholic. He marries, has several children, but never breaks his addiction to the alcohol during his entire married life. As a result of his addiction, all of his children are forced to see, watch and have to experience his alcoholism and all of the negative things that will go along with it.
Many alcoholic men end up abusing both their wives and their children - either verbally, physically and/or sexually throughout much of their married life. As a result of this kind of severe transgression against the Lord, demons will be allowed to come in and attach themselves to the sinning alcoholic father. The demons will have full legal right to be able to come after the father for crossing over into this kind of an extreme realm to begin with if God should so choose to allow this to happen.
Once the demons attach and settle in on the sinning alcoholic father, they will then see which of the children they can try and target. What they will try and do is persuade and influence one or more of the children to become alcoholic themselves - just like their father was. As a result of this kind of direct demonic influence that will start early on in their lives, some of the children end up becoming alcoholics themselves once they are old enough to leave home and move into their own marriages.
Some of these children then end up repeating some of the same dysfunctional behaviors as their sinning alcoholic father had done. They then have their own children, those children then see, watch and experience their dysfunctional behavior - and then some of their children end up coming under direct demonic influence and they in turn then end up becoming alcoholics themselves. And then the cycle keeps repeating itself as you keep going further down the bloodline of these families.
And all of this negative and demonic activity going down to at least 3 or 4 generations of future children all started as a result of the severe sins and transgressions of the one sinning father or mother.
This scenario perfectly lines up with what the above verse is trying to tell us with the sins of a father being able to travel down as far as 3 or 4 generations of future children - all because no one knew how to break the original curse line that had formed out between the first alcoholic father and some of his original children.
What initially goes on behind the scenes in the spiritual realm is that the demons, once they have attached and settled in on the first sinning father, will try and see which of the children will be easier pickings for them to try and influence to go in the same direction as they have been able to get their father to go in. Some of the children will have stronger will power than some of the other ones will and they will thus be able to more easily resist the temptations of the demons than some of the more weaker ones will.
Once the demons have locked in on which children they think will be the more easier ones to work with - then they will try and plant their suggestions, their thoughts and their promptings into that child to see if they can get him to move into the same behavior patterns as their father has been operating in.
If the child does not properly resist these demons over a certain period of time, then a curse line will start to form out between that child and his sinning alcoholic father. And once that curse line has been formed out, then the demons can really move in to attach to the child - whether it be on the inside of that child or the outside.
And once this curse line has been formed out - then the demons will now have a full legal right to stay attached to that child until someone comes along and shows him how to properly break it in the name of Jesus Christ.
If this curse line is not properly broken before that child leaves the home, then the demons will stay attached to that child when he finally does leave the home and they will follow him into his own marriage - and then they will set up shop in the new home and try to repeat all of the above activity with his new family. And again - all of this demonic activity is being allowed to occur as a result of the original sin from the first sinning parent.
I have personally met several women who had carried demons into their married lives - all as a result of a curse line that had formed out between them and their natural mother or father who had been operating in one or more of these heavier type transgressions against the Lord. This kind of demonic activity can also happen with people who are heavy drug users, people who are delving into any of the dark occult arts or any parts of the New Age Movement.
This is why it is so vitally important that parents have their act together with the Lord - especially in the area of some of these heavier type sins and transgressions. In the article I did titled "4 Levels of Spiritual Warfare Against Demonic Spirits" - I gave you what some of those other heavier sins and transgressions can be. Any of those specific sins listed in that article can be major door openers to demons.
And not only will you be drawing demons to yourself if you engage and cross over into some of these forbidden areas by the Lord - but you will also be putting some of your own children at terrible risk with these same demons once they have moved into your house to set up shop.
To those of you who may have drawn demons into your adult life as a result of one or both of your parents engaging in one or more of these heavier sin areas - there is deliverance for you. You can get delivered from these demons if you really want this kind of deliverance.
You do not have to continue to be tormented, harassed and chased after by these demons for the rest of your life. You can stop them dead in their tracks right now if you are willing to properly break their legal rights before God the Father - and then turn around and verbally engage with these demons operating under the authority, power and guidance of God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ.
In order to properly break the curse line that these demons have been feeding and operating on - you will have to take 6 very simple, but powerful steps. I will explain to you what each one of these steps will entail. I will then give you an exact battle prayer that I gave to a young 16 year old teenage girl who had demons trying to attach to her as a result of the severe sins of her natural father.
This girl only had to say this battle prayer one time and the demons immediately left her and they have not been back since. Once you properly break the legal rights of the demons, and then verbally engage with them - the demons will leave you! Demons are no match for the power of God.
If this little 16 year old girl can take these demons out with the appropriate battle strategy - then so can any adult Christian who is willing to take up his Sword, which is the Word of God - and verbally engage with these demons.
Here are the 6 basic steps that you will need to take in order to be able to receive total deliverance from any demons who may have followed you into your adult life as a result of any severe transgressions made by one or both of your natural parents.
I will first list them out one right after the other so that you can see exactly what you are going to have to do, and then I will show you exactly how to do each of these steps under their appropriate captions below.

Here are the 6 steps and the order in which they must be done:
1. The full surrender
2. Confess the sins of your sinning parent to God the Father
3. Be willing to fully forgive your sinning parent
4. Break any unhealthy soul ties with the sinning parent
5. Break the curse line of the demons
6. Verbally command the demons to leave you in the name of Jesus Christ

Now here is a full explanation of exactly what you will need to do in each one of these steps, and then the exact battle prayer that I had given to this 16 year old girl that will have all 6 of these steps properly incorporated into the battle prayer itself.

1. The Full Surrender
The very first thing you are going to have to do is to be willing to come into a full surrender of you and your entire life with the Lord. We have another article in our site in the Bible Basics section titled "The Full Surrender."
In this article, I explain to you exactly what this full surrender is, give you all of the verses from Scripture to back up what God is looking for in this full surrender, and then give you a good sample full surrender prayer that you can actually use to go before the God the Father to make this full surrender with Him.
The very first rule in spiritual warfare, before you can even begin to do battle with demonic spirits, is that you have to be walking and operating in a full surrender with the Lord. If you are not willing to come into this full surrender with the Lord where He will now be the One to take over the reigns of your life and lead your life into the direction that He will now want it to go in - then there will be no help and no deliverance from these demons.
Here is the verse from the Bible that gives us this specific revelation:
"Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you." (James 4:7)
Notice the first four words - "Therefore submit to God" - and notice that this verse starts out with this command. What this means is that you have tofirst be willing to fully submit to God before you can even begin to resist and fight against the devil and his demons to make them flee from you.
Submitting to God means you have entered into this full surrender with Him. You have to be willing to fully surrender every part of your being to Him - body, soul and spirit along with your entire life over to Him. Again, all of this is fully explained to you in our article titled "The Full Surrender" in the Bible Basics Section of our site.
If you are willing to make this full surrender with the Lord where He will now be the One who will be in total control of your life and lead it in the direction that He will now want it to go in - then you will now be ready for step 2.

2. Confess the Sins of Your Sinning Parent to God the Father
The next thing you are going to need to do is to fully confess out the sin or sins of the sinning parent to the Lord. As you will see in the Scripture verse I will list below - God is wanting you to acknowledge and then confess out those sins direct to Him. Here is the verse:
"But if they confess their iniquity and THE INIQUITY OF THEIR FATHERS, with their unfaithfulness in which they were unfaithful to Me, and that they also have walked contrary to Me ... then I will remember My covenant with Jacob, and My covenant with Isaac and My covenant with Abraham I will remember ..." (Leviticus 26:40, 42)
Why would God want you to confess out the sins of your father or mother when you had nothing to do with their sins in the first place? I believe the main reason may be that God will want you to know exactly why these demons are coming after you in the first place - and that reason is because of the severe sins your sinning parent has committed against the Lord.
God wants you to have full knowledge as to what is going on behind the scenes in the spiritual realm, and by confessing out what sins you know your sinning parent has committed against the Lord - you are showing Him that you have the knowledge and the understanding that these original sins is what has caused all of these events to occur as they have done in your own personal life.
In the battle prayer I will list out below, this girl not only had to confess the sins of her own natural father, but she also had to confess out the sins of his father, who was an abortionist responsible for the cold-blooded murder of thousands of unborn children.
If you can trace back through your family line any type of heavier sin or sins that your grandparents may have been involved in, it would be my strong recommendation that you also confess out the sins of these grandparents and possibly your great grandparents if you can trace some of these heavier sins that far back.
When you get into this part of the prayer, you just simply confess out exactly what heavier sins you know your sinning parent has committed against the Lord. What heavier sins that you do not know about can also be added into the prayer to make sure that you cover all of your bases with the Lord. I will show you exactly how to word all of this out in the battle prayer below.

3. Be Willing to Fully Forgive Your Sinning Parent
As a result of some of these heavier kinds of sins and transgressions against the Lord, some of the children in these types of dysfunctional families may end up getting either physically, verbally and/or sexually abused.
As a result of this kind of extreme abuse, some of the children may end up harboring and holding onto deep feelings of guilt, hate, anger, rage and unforgiveness towards the abusive sinning parent. If those deep and intense kind of negative feelings are not properly dealt with early on - these kinds of heavy negative emotions will settle deep into the child's mental and emotional makeup and a mental stronghold will then form out giving the demons plenty of negative energy to attach to and feed on.
Before you can cast the demons out, you will first have to be willing to fully forgive your sinning parent for whatever he or she has ever done to you - no matter how bad, no matter how vile, and no matter how vicious some of these abusive acts may have been towards you.
Even if you don't feel like your emotions or thoughts could possibly line up with making this kind of confession before the Lord - all God is asking from you at this time is your mental cooperation with Him on this issue and make the best effort you can to verbally and mentally forgive your parent before the Lord. Tell the Lord that you will not hold any unforgiveness towards that parent, that you know that your parents final judgment will rest in His hands, and that you will now let that parent go into His hands for His final judgment and vindication.
The Bible tells us that any type of vengeance will always belong to the Lord - not to us, and not to any other family members who would like to try and get even for you with the original sinning, abusive and dysfunctional parent.

It would be my strong recommendation that you also read this article. In this article, I give you all the appropriate verses from Scripture that deal with this kind of heavier problem and how to be able to really forgive an abuser or someone who has unjustly wronged you to a more severe degree.
God, though the power of the Holy Spirit operating on the inside of you, can give you an inner healing from many of these kinds of negative emotions that may have settled in on you over all of these years as result of the abuse you may have had to put up with from the sinning parent.
There is healing and restoration from the Lord for you if you are willing to work with Him on it. The above article will show you how to be able to receive this kind of inner healing from the Lord if you would really like to be set free from these kinds of negative emotions that will do nothing but rob you of your peace, joy and happiness that you can have in the Lord.
Now here is why you are going to have to be willing to fully forgive your sinning parent for all of the abuse that they may have inflicted upon you. The following verse will tell you that before you get ready to stand and pray before the Lord - God will want you to fully forgive all of the people who have ever trespassed against you.
If you can't or won't forgive those who have trespassed against you, then this verse will tell you that God will not forgive you of your own trespasses when you trespass against other people. And with God starting out this verse with the words "And whenever you stand praying" - the strong implication is really there that He may not even be willing to hear any of your prayers until you can agree to forgive all of those who have ever wronged you in this life.
And if God will not be willing to hear any of your prayers - then you will have little or no chance of getting any of your prayers answered. And if you can't get any of your prayers answered with God - then you will have little or no chance on getting Him to deliver you from the demons who may be attacking you.
This is why it is so vitally important that you be willing to fully forgive all of those who have ever hurt, harmed or transgressed against you in any way - which will include both of your parents if they are guilty of this and any other siblings or friends who may have hurt you in your past.
Here is this most solemn and powerful verse from the Lord:
"AND WHENEVER YOU STAND PRAYING, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that you Father in heaven may also forgive your trespasses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses." (Mark 11:25)
If you are willing to take this step with the Lord and fully forgive your parent or parents for whatever wrongs they may have done or inflicted upon you, no matter how bad or vicious those wrongs may have been, then you will now be ready for step 4.

4. Break Any Unhealthy Soul Ties With the Sinning Parent
As a result of the natural parent-child relationship that immediately develops when a child is born into the family - a strong spiritual bond will form out between the child and his parents - even if one or both of the parents end up abusing that child over a period of many years.
This is why it is such a shock to a child's senses when they first start to receive any kind of extreme abuse from the sinning and abusive parent.
Their first natural reaction is that there must be something wrong with them or that they must have done something wrong themselves to warrant receiving this kind of abusive behavior. It isn't until the child starts to get older, wiser and smarter that he starts to see the abusive and sinning parent for what they really are - someone who is acting out on very sick and evil impulses with no effort to try and control or curb it.
When a sinning and abusive parent gets this far out of control and is doing horrible things to his children or other spouse - then what the child must do when he gets old enough to understand all of this is to break any unhealthy soul ties that may have formed out earlier on in the family with this sinning parent. This sinning parent will always be your natural parent by blood - but that doesn't mean you have to stay spiritually attached to this evil, sinning and dysfunctional parent.
A soul tie is any type of spiritual bonding that can occur between two people who have entered into any kind of personal relationship. A soul tie can occur between two spouses, two friends, two siblings and between a parent and a child. A soul tie can be a good and healthy one like what occurs between two people who marry for true love and who are capable of loving their children and their friends in a godly and righteous manner.
However, a soul tie can also be a bad one - where the personal relationship becomes dysfunctional with one of the persons becoming the dominant and abusive one in the relationship, and the other person becoming the submissive one who is being abused and hurt by the dominant person.
What happens in the spiritual realm is that when one person is being severely abused and dominated by the other, an ungodly and unhealthy soul tie can develop. And if that kind of unhealthy soul tie develops during the abusive relationship - then it has to be completely broken in order to be completely set free from both the abuser and any demons who may be attacking you as a result of the legal rights given by the abuser to the demons.
Demons will move in to feed off of any kind of unhealthy soul tie that could develop - so you have to make sure that any of these kinds of destructive soul ties get completely broken when you go into this kind of battle prayer.
Sad as this is to say - this special parent-child bond that should be forming out in the early years of that child's development in the family can be completely ruined and completely severed if that parent starts to enter into any kind of abusive or extreme behavior towards that child or any of the other members in the family.
What this means is that if the sinning parent has gone too far with the abuse of a child over a certain number of years - then the child has to break any unhealthy and ungodly soul ties that may have formed out in those earlier years when he gets old enough to be able to understand all of this and then is able to do this on his own.
The Bible tells us to choose our friends carefully in this life. Just because your sinning and abusive parent is your natural father or mother by blood does not mean you have to stay spiritually attached to them if they refuse to pull out of their evil and wicked ways towards you or any of your close loved ones in the family line. In the battle prayer I will list below, I had the young girl break the soul tie between her and her natural father due to the murderous spirits that were still operating on her father.
If you are willing to fully break any unhealthy soul ties that may have developed and formed out over the years between you and your sinning parent - then you will now be ready for step 5 - which will now be to fully break the curse line that the demons have been operating and feeding on which has been giving them the legal right to be able to keep attacking and tormenting you over all of these years.

5. Break the Curse Line of the Demons
Once you have properly completed the above 4 steps, then you will be ready to break the generational curse line that the demons have been feeding and operating on.
As you will see in how I word this part of the battle prayer below - you will first ask God to do this for you since you have completed the above 4 steps for Him. Then you will take His authority and His power and verbally command this curse line be fully broken in the name of Jesus Christ.
The Bible tells us in Matthew 16:19 that whatever we bind or loose on this earth will bound or loosed up in heaven. In other words, God has already given us His power, His anointing and His authority to trample over all the power of our enemies - and some of our enemies are definitely demonic spirits.
When you get into this part of the battle prayer, you will be taking this spiritual authority direct from God the Father and you will be commanding every inch and every part of this curse line to be completely broken, completely severed and completely demolished in the name of Jesus.
Once this curse line has been completely broken and completely severed between you and your sinning parent - then you will be ready for the last and final step to be able to receive your deliverance - and that is to verbally command all of the demons to now leave you in the name of Jesus Christ.

6. Verbally Command the Demons to Leave You in the Name of Jesus Christ
Once this curse line has been totally and fully broken, the demons will have nothing left to be able to hold onto, and you will now be able to verbally engage with them and command them to now leave you in the name of your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Again, I will show you how to word out this kind of battle command in the battle prayer below. Remember - the Bible tells us that the Word of God is our Sword. You directly engage with demons by verbally engaging with them.
If you try and verbally command the demons to leave you without completing the above 5 steps - their legal rights will not have been properly broken and they will not leave. You must first make sure that you have properly competed all 5 of the above steps before you actually step into the arena with these demons to command them to now leave you in the name of Jesus.
