UFOs in Ancient Artwork compared to the Bible

In February of 2002, The History Channel flew Guy Malone to Los Angeles to interview him as part of a special entitled "Ufos in the Bible." Producer Gabe Vandervort sent Malone a list of 10 questions he would like Guy to discuss, the answers to which were typed out beforehand, to rehearse from (which were posted below).

While grateful for the opportunity at first, please note that the special which aired DID NOT IN FACT faithfully represent Malone's answers, but instead merely spliced in certain things said to affirm the flawed premise of the show. Well I find the Renaissance artwork very intriguing in itself – like the paintings of the "Madonna" images and crucifixion scenes that show UFOs in the sky. These were all done around 1500 years after the fact, so it’s obvious that these painters were not eye-witnesses to the events. What you have in these paintings in particular is a group of people who were inserting their belief into these events, much like the UFO cults today are doing. Either they were experiencing UFOs themselves and simply trying to reconcile these sightings with their religious beliefs, or they were very intentionally trying to reshape the Christian religion into a UFO story by adding these images. But since they were done barely 500 years ago, it’s ridiculous to believe that what these artists put on canvas has anything to do with the true Biblical accounts of these events. They were simply adding UFOs to these popular religious scenes. What their motivations could have been is entirely guesswork, we just know that these can’t be taken with any real authority or believability since they weren’t present when Jesus walked the earth. It does smack of a conspiracy to change the Christian religion itself however.

The other images from historical drawings can be taken as much more credible though I believe. These are very likely eye-witness accounts, and in fact I think they are depicting SOME OF the exact same flying objects people are witnessing today. There’s a popular video out now that shows NASA footage of the exact same type of craft, but they can only be seen in the infra red spectrums except for brief periods when they slow down. These are a little different from the most well-known Biblical accounts though (see chariots of fire). In the Bible they are amber in color for starters, and they appear very briefly (see below*).

What many see today, and what the ancients from many other cultures mostly saw were usually blue-ish, silver or black. I think these are directly related to the false gods from the sky who gave technology to mankind and received worship, especially in the time before the flood. In the Bible, these chariots don’t hang around, and they especially don’t draw attention to themselves, rather they help inspire the prophet turn people toward the God of Israel. The craft depicted by the ancient artists have a record of inspiring worship of the occupants of the craft, and they all tend to be very visible, in large numbers, for extended time periods, and return to the same places and people groups. They’re certainly real, but the only real Biblical correlation I see is that God had to instruct people not to worship the heavenly hosts, don’t seek after them, and don’t commune with them - "…they will defile you." Most of these crafts and beings from ancient times were fallen angels diverting people away from the God of the Bible – they were claiming that they were our gods and creators, and I think they are once again very active today.

Jesus hints of this in Matthew 24:37.

(* Not said on camera, this is pasted from a previous interview. It has to do with the contrast of Biblical chariots, which are seen only briefly if ever, and the fact that UFOs today appear in the same areas -aka "a UFO flap." They want to be seen.)

"One "ghost-buster" I met at a UFO conference gave me the three stages he most frequently witnessed in individual possession cases and haunted houses, and we agreed that the same was true on a societal level in regards to UFOs:

1) Manifestation: (brief "corner of eye" experiences. If not cast out right then leads to..)
2) Fascination: (on the part of witnesses, who study and promote them in order to "prove" the occurrences - which leads to...)
3) Infestation: (where the spirits / ufos/ greys, whatever now have secured territory, "swarm" and are next to impossible to drive out.)

As a global society, we are well into the "fascination" stage in regard to UFO abductions."
