The Testimony of Anonymous 6

Hi, I stumbled upon your site, and felt I had to share my story. I've never told anyone about this.

First off I grew up in a house that we always joked was haunted because there were some pretty serious noises, things moving by themselves, doors slamming, (actually one slammed through its door frame one time), lights that would go on and off by themselves, etc... Also my Mother, although a Christian, had gone to fortune tellers and was actually told by one that she was being watched over by some of her dead relatives, but the weird thing is this woman knew how they were related to my mother and even knew their names, which were not overly common names. Even though all of this went on, as a kid growing up I just shrugged my shoulders and went on with life. Nothing bad ever really happened, so why worry. We were also regulars at church and I've been a Christian all my life. I'm one of those boring people that was raised that way and have never strayed.

Okay that's the background, here's the stuff you'll be interested in.

When I was around 18 (I think, I'm in my early 40's now), I was laying in my bed and as I started to doze off, I woke up because there was a bright light outside my window. My bedroom was on the second floor of our house and far away from the street. I looked at it and was wondering what it was. It seemed to just be hovering there, so I was thinking it wasn't an airplane. About 20 seconds after looking at the light I suddenly felt as if I was being held down. I couldn't figure out what was holding me down, and I really couldn't feel pressure in any specific spots, but I could not move my body in any way. By this time I was wide awake and scared. I could move my head around, I even looked over at the clock, but there was no way to move anything else. It was a very panicky feeling. I literally tried to fling my body off the bed with all my strength and nothing moved. I kept looking at this light and suddenly felt that there was something very bad going on. For some reason, I didn't even feel I could scream out for help, but at that point I started saying the Lord's Prayer out loud, and after I was about halfway through, the entire episode ended as quickly as it started. I then said it again, and another prayer and slept peacefully the rest of the night. This is the only time I have experienced such an episode, and there is no way anyone can convince me that the Lord's Prayer is not the reason it stopped. As soon as I started praying I felt the strength that was holding me down start to weaken a little until it finally ended in a split second. As a matter of fact, I have always felt peace because I felt I had learned how to protect myself. As I have gotten older, I have realized what may be going on with "aliens", and what I may have experienced.

I'm very happy you have started this research, people need to understand, these are not visitors from another far off planet, and we can be protected by the armor of God.

God Bless.
